1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the MOBAPAD Huben 2 Mechanical Bluetooth Controller. This manual provides detailed instructions on how to set up, operate, and maintain your controller. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure optimal performance and safety.

3. Product Overview

3.1. Button Layout and Configuration

The controller features a standard Xbox-style button configuration. Refer to the diagram below for a detailed overview of all buttons and ports.

4. Setup and Connection

4.1. Basic Operations

  • Power On: Slide the mode switch to the corresponding platform position and briefly press the HOME button.
  • Power Off: Slide the mode switch to the OFF position.
  • Standby: If idle for 10 minutes while connected, the controller will automatically power off.
  • Wake Up: Briefly press the HOME button (Switch only).
  • Low Battery: The LOGO light will flash rapidly when the battery is below 15%.
  • Charging:
    • When powered off, the LOGO light is solid red and turns off when fully charged.
    • When powered on, the LOGO light flashes twice quickly, then returns to its current lighting effect.

4.4. 2.4G Connection to PC (using Dongle)

  1. Switch the mode to the "PC (Dongle)" position and insert the dongle into the computer's USB port.
  2. Briefly press the "HOME" button on the controller to power on. The LOGO light will flash slowly, indicating it is attempting to reconnect (the dongle is pre-paired with the controller from the factory).
  3. When the LOGO light on the controller and the indicator light on the dongle stay solid, the connection is successful.
  4. For future use, ensure the mode is set to "PC (Dongle)", and briefly press the "HOME" button on the controller to reconnect.

Re-pairing The Dongle And Controller

  1. Press the pairing button on the dongle. The dongle's light will flash rapidly, indicating it is in pairing mode.
  2. Briefly press the "HOME" button on the controller to power on, then press and hold the "PAIRING" button for three seconds. The LOGO light will flash rapidly, indicating the controller is in pairing mode.

4.5. Wired Connection to PC

  1. Set the mode switch to the "PC (Wired)" position.
  2. Use the provided Type-C cable to connect the controller to the computer's USB port.

4.6. Android/iOS Device Connection (Bluetooth)

  1. While the controller is powered off, slide the mode switch to the "Android/iOS" position. Briefly press the "HOME" button to power on, then press and hold the "PAIRING" button for 3 seconds. The LOGO light will flash rapidly, indicating it is in pairing mode.
  2. On your phone, go to the Bluetooth settings and find the device named "Xbox Wireless Controller". Tap to connect.
  3. Once connected, your phone will display "Connected", and the LOGO light on the controller will stay solid.
  4. For future use, simply press the "HOME" button to reconnect to your phone.

4.7. Nintendo Switch Device Connection (Bluetooth)

  1. On the Switch home screen, tap the "Controllers" icon and select "Change Grip/Order".
  2. While the controller is powered off, slide the mode switch to the "NS (Bluetooth)" position. Briefly press the "HOME" button to power on, then press and hold the "PAIRING" button for 3 seconds. The LOGO light will flash rapidly, indicating it is in pairing mode.
  3. Once the LOGO light stays solid, press the "HOME" button to return to the home screen.

Switch Reconnect And Wake Up

After a successful connection, if the Switch enters sleep mode, press the "HOME" button on the controller (with the mode switch in the "NS (Bluetooth)" position) to reconnect and wake up the console.

4.8. Nintendo Switch Wired Connection

Before using a wired connection, ensure the controller is powered on or in sleep mode, and enable the Pro Controller's wired connection in the Switch system settings.

  1. While the controller is powered off, slide the mode switch to the "NS (Wired)" position, and use a Type-C cable to connect the controller to the Switch dock.
  2. The LOGO light on the controller will stay solid, indicating a successful connection.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Vibration Level Adjustment

The controller supports adjustable vibration levels. Use the designated buttons or software configuration to increase or decrease the vibration intensity.

  • Up: Increase vibration level.
  • Down: Decrease vibration level.

The controller will provide vibration feedback at the current intensity.

5.2. Turbo Function

The Turbo function allows for rapid, repeated input of a button press. Mappable buttons for Turbo include: A, B, X, Y, LB, LT, RB, RT, D-pad Up, Down, Left, Right.

Turbo Mode Switching LED Indicators

  • Low Speed: LOGO light flashes once.
  • Medium Speed: LOGO light flashes twice.
  • High Speed: LOGO light flashes three times.

5.3. Macro Function

The controller features four programmable back buttons (M1, M2, M3, M4) for custom macros. Assignable buttons for macros include: A, B, X, Y, LB, LT, RB, RT, L3, R3, and joysticks (joysticks only support eight directions, no analog input).

  • Recording a Macro: Press and hold the "MACRO" button for 3 seconds until the LOGO light turns solid purple. Perform the desired actions, then press an M1/M2/M3/M4 button to save the macro to that button. The LOGO light will return to its default state upon successful recording.
  • Clearing a Macro: Long press the "MACRO" button for 3 seconds (LOGO light turns solid purple, controller vibrates). Then press the specific M1/M2/M3/M4 button to clear its recorded macro.
  • Macro Loop: Press "MACRO" + M1/M2/M3/M4 to enable the macro loop. Press "MACRO" + M1/M2/M3/M4 again to disable it. Pressing any button except the joystick will also terminate the macro loop.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Clean the controller with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use chemicals such as gasoline or thinner for cleaning.
  • Storage: Store the product in a dry, dust-free environment away from direct sunlight and high temperatures.
  • General Care: Avoid impacting or dropping the product. Do not forcefully bend or pull the cables.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Controller not powering on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the controller to a power source using the Type-C cable.
  • Unable to connect via 2.4G dongle: Ensure the mode switch is in the correct "PC (Dongle)" position. If the dongle and controller are not paired, follow the re-pairing instructions in Section 4.4.
  • Bluetooth connection issues: Ensure the mode switch is in the correct Bluetooth position (Android/iOS or NS). Make sure the controller is in pairing mode (rapidly flashing LOGO light) and visible in your device's Bluetooth settings.
  • Buttons or joysticks unresponsive: Try resetting the controller using the reset hole (refer to Figure 3.3). Ensure no debris is obstructing the buttons or joysticks.
  • Vibration not working: Check the vibration level settings (Section 5.1) and ensure it's not set to off or minimum.
  • Macro not recording/playing back: Ensure you are following the macro recording steps correctly (Section 5.3). Check if the macro has been cleared accidentally.

9. User Tips

  • Customization: Utilize the PC/Phone App for rich customization options, including joystick adjustment, macro programming, and vibration adjustment.
  • D-pad Replacement: The D-pad is replaceable. Experiment with the included cross D-pad to find your preferred feel for different games.
  • Low Latency Gaming: For competitive gaming, consider using the wired connection option for the lowest possible latency.

10. Safety Precautions

  • Contains small parts. Keep out of reach of children under 3 years old. If accidentally swallowed or inhaled, seek immediate medical attention.
  • Do not use the product near fire or heat sources.
  • Do not expose the product to direct sunlight or high-temperature environments.
  • Do not place the product in humid or dusty environments.
  • Do not impact or drop the product.
  • Do not directly touch the USB port, as it may cause malfunction.
  • Do not forcefully bend or pull the cables.
  • Do not disassemble, repair, or modify the product yourself.
