Before you begin, please ensure all items are present:

• Camera Unit (x1)
• Monitor Unit (x1)

• Power Adapter + Power-Charging Cable (x2, one for camera, one for monitor)

Powering On the Device

The baby monitor comes with two power adaptors and two USB charging cables.

1. Camera: Connect the camera to a 110-240V AC outlet or USB port. The camera will turn on automatically, and a red indicator light at the bottom will illuminate. Unplug the camera to turn it off.
2. Monitor: Pull out the antenna first. Press and hold the Power Switch on the monitor for 3 seconds to turn it on or off. Please charge the monitor fully before its first use.

Pairing Monitor and Camera

The monitor and camera are pre-paired at the factory and should connect automatically when powered on. If they do not connect, follow these steps:

1. Turn on the monitor and press the Menu/OK button.
2. Use the direction keys to select the camera icon and press Menu/OK to confirm.
3. In the pop-up bar, select the desired camera (e.g., Camera 1 or Camera 2) to pair.
4. Press and hold the "CALL" button on the camera unit until you hear two "di di" sounds.
5. The monitor screen will then display the camera's image, and the camera symbol will change to indicate a successful connection.

You can pair up to two cameras with the monitor by repeating these steps for the second camera.

Connecting to the Tuya Smart App

The camera can also be monitored remotely via the Tuya Smart app. Follow these steps:

1. Download the App: Download the "BBM Camera" app from your smartphone's App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
2. Register/Login: Open the app, register an account, and log in.
3. App Permissions: The app will request authorization for location, microphone, and camera. Please select "Agree" to proceed.
4. WiFi Settings: Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. The camera only supports 2.4GHz WiFi. You can reconnect your smartphone to a 5GHz WiFi network once the app configuration is complete.
5. Add Device: In the app, it should show "device to be added". Click "Add".
6. Enter Wi-Fi Information: Confirm your phone's WiFi network (2.4G) and enter the password. Press "Next".
7. Pairing: The app will attempt to add the device. After successful pairing, the camera will sound "duan" to prompt, and the app will enter monitor status.
8. Baby Information: Login to the app to add your baby's information.

Operating Instructions

The monitor's status bar provides quick information:

Monitor Buttons and Functions

• Intercom Mode: Press and hold the microphone button on the monitor to talk to your baby. Release the button when finished.
• Lullaby & Night Light: Press the music key to play/stop lullabies. Press and hold the music key to turn the night light on/off.
• Camera Rotation: Briefly press the PTZ/Back button to activate camera remote control mode. Use the direction buttons to adjust the camera's pan (355° horizontal) and tilt (45° vertical) angles.
• Volume Adjustment: Use the direction buttons to adjust the monitor's volume (6 levels).
• Display Brightness: Use the direction buttons to adjust the monitor's screen brightness (6 levels).

Press the Menu/OK button to access the main menu. Use the direction keys to navigate and Menu/OK to select.

Maintenance

Cleaning and Care

• Clean the device with a slightly damp cloth or an antistatic wipe.
• Do not use detergents, abrasive solvents, thinner, or other chemicals to clean any part of the product, as this may cause damage not covered by the warranty.
• Do not expose the product to high temperatures, humidity, or strong sunlight.
• Do not get the product wet.

User Tips

• Optimal Placement: To prevent audio feedback (howling), keep the monitor and camera separated by at least 1.5 meters (approximately 5 feet).
• WiFi Connection: Remember that the camera only supports 2.4GHz WiFi for initial setup. Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz network during the pairing process with the app.
• Multi-Camera Setup: If you purchase an additional camera (e.g., "Only Camera" model), you can link it to your existing monitor and utilize features like split-screen viewing if supported by the monitor's firmware.
• Temperature Accuracy: Minor variations in temperature readings can occur due to indoor air circulation or shielding around the thermistor.

Troubleshooting

1. Why is the signal in the room bad?

A:

• Check if the receiving antenna of the displayer terminal is turned on.
• Walls and other materials can block 2.4G signals. If the signal is not satisfactory, try moving the displayer and camera to different locations.

2. Why is there always some noise in the background (howling)?

A: It is impossible to eliminate all background noise entirely. This is a common issue in audio devices. Keep the displayer and camera separate by over 1.5 meters. The microphone of the receiver and camera should not be facing each other. This phenomenon is an uncontrollable factor.

3. Why is the temperature not precisely shown on the screen?

A:

• There may be differences in indoor air circulation.
• The thermistor may have a ±1°C deviation, and there might be shielding around it, causing slight inaccuracies.
