  • Infrared Receiver: For remote control signals.
  • Input Select Buttons (1-5): Press to select a single channel. Long press (2 seconds) to add a channel to work together (for 1-IN-5-OUT version). Long press (4 seconds) on any button to power off the unit.

Setup and Connections

Before making any connections, ensure all audio equipment is powered off.

Power Supply

  1. Connect the provided USB cable to the DC5V IN (Type-C USB) port on the rear panel of the MC105.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a DC5V (≥1A) power adapter (not included).

Connecting Audio Devices (1-IN-5-OUT Version)

  1. Connect your single audio source (e.g., CD player, DAC) to the I/O (Female XLR) input on the rear panel using an XLR cable.
  2. Connect up to five audio receiving devices (e.g., power amplifiers, mixers, preamps) to the 1-5 (Male XLR) outputs on the rear panel using XLR cables.

Connecting Audio Devices (5-IN-1-OUT Version)

  1. Connect up to five audio sources (e.g., CD players, DACs) to the 1-5 (Female XLR) inputs on the rear panel using XLR cables.
  2. Connect your single audio receiving device (e.g., power amplifier, mixer, preamp) to the I/O (Male XLR) output on the rear panel using an XLR cable.

Note for 5-IN-1-OUT version: It is not recommended to connect multiple groups of inputs simultaneously as this may cause noise or low volume. Select only one input at a time for optimal performance.

Operation

Powering On/Off

  • To power on: Connect the DC5V power supply. The unit will automatically power on.
  • To power off: Long press any input select button on the front panel for 4 seconds.

Channel Selection

The MC105 offers flexible channel selection via both the front panel and the remote control.

Using Front Panel Buttons:

  • Single Channel Selection: Click any button (1-5) to select that specific channel. The corresponding LED indicator will light up.
  • Multiple Channel Selection (1-IN-5-OUT Version Only): Long press any button (1-5) for 2 seconds to add that channel to the currently active channels. This allows multiple outputs to be active simultaneously.

Using Remote Control:

Insert 2x AAA batteries (not included) into the remote control before use.

  • ON/OFF Button: Powers the unit on or off.
  • Channel Buttons (1-5): Press to select the desired channel.

The MC105 supports setup option saving, meaning your last selected channel configuration will be remembered when the unit is powered off and on again.

User Tips

  • Ground Loop Noise: If you experience common ground noise, consider adding an audio isolation module between the MC105 and your audio device.
  • 5-IN-1-OUT Usage: For the 5-IN-1-OUT version, it is strongly recommended to only have one input source active at a time to prevent potential noise or low volume issues.
  • Remote Control Batteries: Remember to purchase 2x AAA batteries for the remote control, as they are not included in the package.

Troubleshooting
