4.2 Wearing the Heart Rate Strap

For accurate readings, follow these steps:

  1. Wet the Electrode Area: Lightly moisten the electrode areas on the back of the chest strap with water or electrode gel. This improves conductivity.
  2. Position the Strap: Wear the chest strap directly on your skin, just below your chest muscles.
  3. Adjust for Comfort: Adjust the strap to a comfortable, snug fit. It should be tight enough to stay in place but not restrict breathing.
  4. Attach the Module: Snap the H613 sensor module onto the two fasteners on the chest strap. The sensor will automatically turn on and begin broadcasting heart rate data once attached and worn correctly.

5. Operation

5.1 Connecting to Devices

The H613 supports both Bluetooth (up to 3 simultaneous connections) and ANT+ protocols, allowing connection to a wide range of devices:

  • Cycling Computers: Magene, Wahoo, Garmin, Bryton, XOSS, iGPSPORT, and other ANT-enabled bike computers.
  • Smartwatches: Compatible with various smartwatches that support heart rate monitoring via Bluetooth or ANT+.
  • Fitness Apps: Connects to popular fitness apps like Zwift, Onelap, Strava, Kinomap, Wahoo Fitness, TrainerRoad, ROUVY, Fulgaz, Peloton, and others.

To connect, ensure Bluetooth or ANT+ is enabled on your receiving device/app and search for the H613 sensor. Pair or connect as per your device's instructions.

5.2 Smart Heart Rate Alert

The H613 features a smart heart rate alert system. You can set customizable heart rate thresholds within the OnelapFit App. If your heart rate exceeds or falls below these thresholds during exercise, the sensor will trigger a synchronous buzzer alert, providing a timely warning for potential fatigue or over-exertion.

5.3 Multi-color Heart Rate Zone Indicator

The sensor includes a 5-color LED indicator that visually represents your current heart rate zone:

  • White: Warm-up
  • Blue: Fat burning zone
  • Green: Aerobic endurance
  • Yellow: Threshold zone
  • Red: Anaerobic endurance

5.4 Offline Storage

The H613 can store up to 17 hours of heart rate data offline. This allows you to train without needing a connected phone or device. After your session, connect the sensor to the OnelapFit App to automatically sync and view a complete report, including workout duration, calories burned, average heart rate, heart rate zone distribution, etc.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Chest Strap

After each use, detach the sensor module from the chest strap. Rinse the chest strap with clean water to remove sweat and dirt. Allow it to air dry completely before storing. The strap features antibacterial and anti-odor technology for enhanced hygiene.

6.2 Sensor Module Care

The H613 sensor module is IPX7 waterproof, meaning it is protected against temporary immersion in water (up to 1 meter for 30 minutes). It can withstand rain and sweat. However, it is not recommended for swimming or prolonged submersion. Wipe the module clean with a soft, dry cloth if it gets wet.

7. Troubleshooting

  • No Heart Rate Reading:
    • Ensure the electrode areas on the chest strap are moistened.
    • Check that the sensor module is securely attached to the strap.
    • Verify the strap is worn correctly and snugly against your skin.
    • Confirm the battery is charged.
  • Device Not Connecting via Bluetooth/ANT+:
    • Ensure the H613 is active (worn and moistened).
    • Check that Bluetooth/ANT+ is enabled on your receiving device.
    • Move closer to the receiving device to ensure a strong signal.
    • Restart both the H613 (by detaching and reattaching) and your receiving device.
    • Verify your receiving device (e.g., Geoid CC600 cycling computer) supports standard Bluetooth or ANT+ heart rate profiles.
  • Inaccurate Readings:
    • Ensure electrodes are sufficiently wet.
    • Check for proper strap fit; it should not be too loose or too tight.
    • Avoid wearing the sensor over clothing, as this can interfere with signal.
  • Can I use it for swimming?
    • The H613 has an IPX7 waterproof rating, meaning it is resistant to splashes and brief immersion. However, it is not designed for continuous submersion or swimming in pools or the sea, as water pressure and prolonged exposure can affect its functionality and accuracy.

8. User Tips

  • Always moisten the electrodes before wearing the strap for the most accurate and consistent heart rate readings.
  • Regularly check the battery level, especially before long workouts, to ensure uninterrupted data collection.
  • Utilize the OnelapFit App to customize heart rate alerts and review detailed post-workout analysis from the offline storage.
  • If connecting to a new device, ensure the H613 is not actively connected to other devices to avoid interference.
