Setup

1. Battery Installation

1. Unscrew the end cap of the headlamp (marked "OPEN" in some diagrams).
2. Insert the provided 21700 lithium-ion battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the headlamp's light source.
3. Screw the end cap back on tightly to ensure waterproof sealing.

2. Charging

The H7R headlamp features a universal Type-C charging interface for convenient charging.

1. Locate the Type-C charging port on the side of the headlamp.
2. Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the headlamp and a suitable USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, power bank, computer USB port).
3. The battery indicator light will show red while charging and turn green when fully charged.

3. Wearing the Headlamp

Attach the headlamp to the adjustable strap. The strap is designed for comfort and stability.

• Adjust the strap to fit comfortably around your head.
• The hollow-out design and silicone sweat guide enhance comfort and breathability.
• The top strap design helps prevent the headlamp from sliding during activity.

Operating Instructions

The H7R features a dual-button control system for independent operation of spotlight and floodlight functions.

Power On/Off

• Spotlight: In the unlocked state, long press the top right switch for 0.5 seconds to turn on.
• Floodlight/Red Light: In the unlocked state, long press the top left switch for 0.5 seconds to turn on the red light.
• To turn off either light, long press its respective switch for 0.5 seconds.

Switching Modes & Brightness Adjustment

• Spotlight: In the powered-on state, single-click the right switch to adjust brightness in the cycle: Low Brightness → Medium Brightness → High Brightness → Very Bright Brightness.
• Floodlight: In the powered-on state, single-click the left switch to adjust brightness in the cycle: Low Brightness → High Brightness.
• Red Light: From the off state, long press the left switch for 0.5 seconds to activate red light. Single-click to cycle: Red Light → SOS → Slow Flash.
• The spotlight and floodlight modes can be turned on simultaneously and operate independently.

Gear Memory

The flashlight automatically memorizes the current working gear in constant light mode for the spotlight and turns on with the memorized gear after shutting down. The floodlight has no memory and turns on in red light mode each time it is turned on.

Prevent Accidental Power On (Lock Function)

• Lock: In the off state, double-click any button within 0.5 seconds. The product enters the locked state (the red light flashes slowly three times). While locked, long or short pressing any button will cause the red light to flash slowly three times, indicating it's in the locked state.
• Unlock: In the locked state, double-click any button within 0.5 seconds to release the product lock (the red light flashes slowly twice). The product will then turn on from the memory position of the spotlight gear.
• Lock Accidental Touch Reminder: In the locked state, single-click any button, the red light flashes 3 times to remind you and then goes out.

Angle Adjustment

The lamp body angle can be adjusted up and down by 90° to ensure there is no blind spot in outdoor lighting.

Battery Indicator

The H7R features a real-time power detection function. When the flashlight is turned off, lightly touch the switch, and the battery indicator lights up for 3 seconds, showing the remaining power:

• Green: 80% - 100%
• Yellow: 30% - 80%
• Red: 5% - 30%
• Flashing Red: 1% - 5%

Note: This power display function is only valid for 21700 lithium-ion batteries.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the headlamp with a clean, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Waterproof: The H7R is IPX6 waterproof. While it can withstand strong jets of water, avoid prolonged submersion. Ensure the Type-C port cover is securely closed when not charging to maintain water resistance.
• Battery Care:
  • Charge the battery regularly, even if not in use, to prolong its lifespan.
  • Store the headlamp and battery in a cool, dry place.
  • If the headlamp will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery.
  • Use only the specified 21700 lithium-ion battery.
• O-rings: Periodically check the O-rings for wear and tear. Replace them if damaged to maintain the waterproof seal. Spare O-rings are included in the package.

Troubleshooting

• Headlamp does not turn on:
  • Check if the battery is installed correctly with the positive end facing the light source.
  • Ensure the battery is charged. Refer to the "Charging" section.
  • Verify the headlamp is not in the locked state. Double-click any button to unlock.
  • Check for anti-reverse connection design: The H7R has an anti-reverse connection design to prevent damage if the battery is installed incorrectly. If it doesn't turn on, re-check battery orientation.
• Light output is dim or flickers:
  • The battery may be low. Recharge the battery.
  • Ensure the battery is fully inserted and the end cap is tightened.
• Charging does not start:
  • Ensure the Type-C cable is securely connected to both the headlamp and the power source.
  • Try a different USB cable or power adapter.

• Battery Removal: While the headlamp charges via Type-C, the 21700 battery is removable. This is useful for replacing the battery if needed, or for charging it externally with a dedicated charger for faster charging or if the internal port is unavailable.
