Setup

Assembly is required for this dartboard. Please follow these steps for proper installation:

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Choose Location: Select a suitable wall for mounting. Ensure there is enough clear space around the dartboard for safe play and dart retrieval. The standard throwing distance is 7 feet 9 1/4 inches (2.37 meters) from the face of the board.
  3. Mounting:
    • Determine the desired height for the dartboard. The center of the bullseye should be 5 feet 8 inches (1.73 meters) from the floor.
    • Mark the mounting points on the wall. The cabinet typically has pre-drilled holes or mounting brackets on the back.
    • Use appropriate screws and wall plugs (if mounting into drywall) to securely fasten the dartboard cabinet to the wall. Ensure it is level and stable.
  4. Power Connection: Connect the power adapter (not included, but required for electronic function) to the dartboard and plug it into a standard electrical outlet.
  5. Open Cabinet: Gently open the two cabinet doors.

Maintenance

To ensure your HOMCOM Electronic Dartboard remains in optimal condition, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning:
    • Wipe the dartboard surface and cabinet with a soft, dry cloth.
    • For stubborn marks, use a slightly damp cloth with mild soap, then wipe dry immediately.
    • Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish and electronic components.
  • Dart Care:
    • Regularly inspect soft tips for wear or damage. Replace worn tips with the provided spare dart heads to prevent damage to the dartboard segments.
    • Store darts in the cabinet's designated holders when not in use to prevent loss or damage.
  • Storage:
    • When not in use, close the cabinet doors to protect the dartboard from dust and accidental damage.
    • Store the dartboard in a dry environment, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Power: Disconnect the power adapter from the wall outlet when the dartboard is not in use for extended periods.
