6. Setup and First Use

Follow these steps for the initial setup of your coffee maker:

7. Operating Instructions

Your Gotech CM6686A offers versatile brewing options for coffee and tea.

7.1. Brewing Coffee (Beans or Powder)

  1. Add Water: Open the water tank lid and fill the water tank with fresh, cold water up to the desired level (1-4 cups). Close the lid securely.
  2. Add Coffee:
    • For Coffee Beans: Add whole coffee beans to the bean compartment. The machine will automatically grind them.
    • For Coffee Powder: Add ground coffee directly to the filter basket.

  3. Select Grinding/Concentration: Use the rotary dial on the control panel to select your preferred grinding fineness (if using beans) and coffee concentration. Options include:
    • Grinding: Coarse, Fine, Powder (for pre-ground coffee).
    • Concentration: Standard, Enriched.

  4. Start Brewing: Press the START button. The machine will begin the grinding (if applicable) and brewing process.
  5. Automatic Keep Warm: After brewing, the coffee maker will automatically keep the coffee warm for 30 minutes.

7.2. Brewing Tea

The Gotech CM6686A can also be used to brew various types of tea, including fruit tea, flower tea, and healthy tea.

8. Maintenance and Cleaning
