6.3 Cleaning

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 App Shows "Not Enabled" After SIM Card Installation

  1. Check SIM Card PIN: Ensure the SIM card's PIN code has been deleted. Insert the SIM into a mobile phone to disable the PIN if necessary.
  2. GPRS Data Plan: Confirm that the SIM card has an active GPRS data plan. Without data, the bracelet cannot communicate with the app/platform.
  3. Power Off During Installation: Always install the SIM card when the bracelet is powered off. Power on the device after insertion.
  4. Test Call: Try making a call to the bracelet's phone number. If the call connects, the SIM card is recognized.
  5. APN Settings: If the call connects but the app still shows "Not enabled," the Access Point Name (APN) settings might be incorrect. Send the SMS command `pw,123456,ts#` to the bracelet. If you receive a reply, the network positioning is normal, and you may need to manually set the APN. Contact your SIM card provider for the correct APN settings and consult the seller for instructions on how to send APN commands via SMS.
  6. SIM Card Insertion: If you cannot make a call to the bracelet, the device may not be recognizing the SIM card. Check if the SIM card is inserted in the correct direction and ensure it is fully seated. Re-insert the SIM card and power cycle the device.

8. User Tips

  • Network Compatibility: Before purchasing a SIM card, verify with your local network provider that their 4G LTE and 2G GSM bands are compatible with the bracelet. This ensures optimal performance and connectivity in your region.
  • Regular Charging: To ensure continuous monitoring and emergency readiness, establish a routine for charging the bracelet.
  • App Notifications: Enable notifications for the companion app on your smartphone to receive timely alerts for SOS calls, fall detections, low battery, and geo-fence breaches.
  • Test SOS Function: Periodically test the SOS call function with your emergency contacts to ensure it is working correctly and that they understand their role.
