- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device and the BMS is discoverable.
- For PC connection, verify the correct communication cable (RS232/RS485/UART) is used and drivers are installed.
- Restart the app/software and the BMS.
- Balancing Not Occurring:
- Check individual cell voltages via the app/software to confirm imbalance.
- Ensure the balance function is enabled in the settings.
- Verify all sampling lines are correctly connected to each cell.
- Over-protection Triggered:
- Identify the specific protection (overcharge, overdischarge, overcurrent, temperature) indicated by the app/software.
- Check the battery voltage, current draw, or temperature against the set protection parameters.
- Reduce load or charging current if overcurrent is triggered. Allow battery to cool if over-temperature.
- Inverter Communication Failure:
- Verify the correct inverter protocol is selected in the BMS settings (via app or PC software).
- Check the physical connection of the RS485/CAN cable between the BMS and the inverter.
- Consult your inverter's manual for compatible BMS communication settings.
8.1 User Tips
- Always ensure all connections are secure before powering on the system to prevent damage.
- When adjusting parameters, make small, incremental changes and observe the system's behavior.
- For optimal performance, keep the BMS firmware and associated applications updated.
