4.2 Rear Camera Installation (Optional)
If your package includes a rear camera, follow these steps for installation:
- Mount the rear camera on the rear windshield, ensuring a clear view.
- Connect the rear camera's cable to the main dashcam unit.
- Connect the rear camera's red cable wire to your car's reverse lamp power's positive pole (+). This enables the automatic display of the rear view with parking lines when reversing.
- Route the rear camera cable discreetly through the car's interior trim.

4.3 Hardwire Kit Installation (Optional for 24H Parking Monitoring)
The Hardwire Kit allows for continuous power supply for 24-hour parking monitoring without occupying the cigarette lighter interface. Note: The DVR is only compatible with cars that have a 12V power supply. A 24V power supply will burn the motherboard. If you want to use 24V, please add a 24V to 12V Converter. Please use our customized specifications for the KIT, as they may not match those of other companies.
- Identify two fuse slots in your car's fuse box: one that provides constant power (for the RED wire) and one that provides power only when the key is in the ACC position (for the YELLOW wire).
- Connect the RED wire of the hardwire kit to the constant power fuse slot.
- Connect the YELLOW wire of the hardwire kit to the ACC power fuse slot.
- Connect the BLACK wire to a grounding screw or bolt on the car's chassis.
- Connect the hardwire kit to the dashcam's power input.

6. Key Features
- 4K Ultra HD Recording: The front camera records in cinematic 4K (3840x2160) resolution, capturing clear images and details like license plates and road signs. The optional rear camera records in 1080P (1920x1080).

- Super Night Vision & WDR: Equipped with a Sony IMX415 sensor and F1.6 aperture, the dashcam provides excellent night vision capabilities. Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) processing enhances image quality by balancing exposure in varying light conditions, brightening recordings at night or in low-light environments.

- Dual Channel Recording: Simultaneously records from both front (170° wide-angle) and rear (140° wide-angle) cameras, providing comprehensive coverage and evidence for traffic incidents.

- Loop Recording: When the memory card is full, the oldest files are automatically overwritten by new recordings. Important files can be locked and protected from being overwritten by the G-Sensor.
- G-Sensor: Detects sudden impacts or emergency braking, automatically locking and protecting the current video footage from being overwritten.
- Parking Monitor: With the optional hardwire kit, the dashcam can monitor your vehicle for 24 hours. If a shock is detected while parked, the DVR will automatically turn on and record.

7. Maintenance
- Clean Lenses: Regularly clean the front and rear camera lenses with a soft, lint-free cloth to ensure clear recordings.
- Check SD Card: Periodically check the memory card for errors or corruption. Format the card monthly to maintain optimal performance and prevent data loss. Use only high-quality Class 10 Micro SD cards (16GB to 256GB).
- Firmware Updates: Check the manufacturer's website or the Viidure app for any available firmware updates to ensure your device has the latest features and bug fixes.
- Temperature: Avoid exposing the dashcam to extreme temperatures for prolonged periods, as this can affect battery life and device performance.
8. Troubleshooting
- Dashcam not powering on: Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the dashcam and the car's power source. Check the car's cigarette lighter socket or fuse for the hardwire kit.
- Recording issues (e.g., freezing, corrupted files): This is often due to a low-quality or slow memory card. Ensure you are using a Class 10 Micro SD card from a reputable brand. Try formatting the SD card or replacing it.
- Wi-Fi connection problems: Ensure the dashcam's Wi-Fi is enabled. Double-check the Wi-Fi password. Try restarting both the dashcam and your smartphone.
- GPS not locking: Ensure the GPS module is properly connected and has a clear view of the sky. Allow sufficient time for the module to acquire a signal, especially during the first use.
- Rear camera not displaying: Verify the rear camera cable is securely connected to the main unit and that the red wire is correctly connected to the reverse lamp's positive pole.
9. User Tips
- For optimal video quality, especially at night, ensure your windshield is clean.
- Position the dashcam so it does not obstruct your view of the road.
- Regularly back up important video files from your SD card to a computer or cloud storage.
- If using the parking monitor feature, ensure your car battery is in good condition or consider a dedicated dashcam battery pack to prevent draining your car's battery.
- Familiarize yourself with the Viidure app features to easily manage your recordings and settings.
