4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge your Rockmia EBS-918 speaker.

  1. Connect the provided USB Type-C charging cable to the charging port on the speaker.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The charging indicator light will show the charging status. It typically takes a few hours for a full charge.
  4. Once fully charged, disconnect the charging cable.

4.2 Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Long press the power button (middle button) until you hear an audible prompt or see the indicator light.
  • To Power Off: Long press the power button (middle button) again until you hear an audible prompt or the indicator light turns off.

4.3 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered off.
  2. Long press the power button to turn on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing LED light.
  3. On your device (smartphone, tablet, computer), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  4. Select "EBS-918" from the list of devices.
  5. Once connected, the LED indicator will stop flashing and remain solid, and you will hear a confirmation tone.

5.2 Using TF Card and AUX Input

The speaker supports TF card playback and AUX input for additional audio sources.

  1. TF Card Playback: Insert a TF card (MicroSD card) with MP3, FLAC, or WAV audio files into the TF card slot. The speaker will automatically switch to TF card mode and begin playback. Use the top button to switch modes if needed.
  2. AUX Input: Connect an audio device using a 3.5mm AUX cable (not included) to the AUX port. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode. Use the top button to switch modes if needed.

5.3 Making and Receiving Calls

When connected via Bluetooth to your smartphone, you can use the speaker for hands-free calls.

  • Answer/End Call: Short press the middle (Play/Pause) button.
  • Reject Call: Long press the middle (Play/Pause) button.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
