Setup
1. Initial Winding
Your Forsining watch is an automatic mechanical timepiece, meaning it does not require a battery. It is powered by the motion of your wrist. If the watch has stopped or is running slowly, it may need to be manually wound:
- Ensure the crown is in its normal, pushed-in position.
- Rotate the crown clockwise approximately 30-40 times. This will provide enough power reserve to start the watch and allow the automatic winding mechanism to take over with regular wear.
2. Setting the Time
- Pull the crown out to the furthest position (usually the second click).
- Rotate the crown to move the hands clockwise or counter-clockwise until the desired time is set.
- Push the crown back into its normal position.
3. Setting the Date, Month, and Week
Refer to the "Product Overview" image for the location of the pushers. The specific function of each pusher may vary slightly, but generally:
- Date: Gently press the pusher located near the 2 o'clock position (or as indicated in the diagram) to advance the date.
- Month: Gently press the pusher located near the 4 o'clock position (or as indicated) to advance the month.
- Week: Gently press the pusher located near the 8 o'clock position (or as indicated) to advance the day of the week.
- Important: Avoid adjusting the date/month/week between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this is when the watch's internal mechanisms are engaged in changing the calendar, and forcing it can cause damage.
4. Band Adjustment
Your watch comes with a metal watch strap adjustment tool to help you resize the band for a comfortable fit. If you are unsure, it is recommended to have a professional jeweler adjust the band.

Operating Instructions
Automatic Movement
The watch is powered by an automatic self-winding mechanical movement. This means it harnesses the kinetic energy from your wrist's natural movements to wind the mainspring. No battery replacement is ever needed. For optimal performance, wear the watch daily for at least 8-10 hours. If the watch is not worn for an extended period, it may stop. In such cases, manually wind it as described in the "Initial Winding" section.
Special Features
- Tourbillon: The visible tourbillon mechanism at the 6 o'clock position is a complex horological device designed to counter the effects of gravity on the watch's accuracy. It rotates continuously, adding a dynamic visual element to your timepiece.
- Luminous Display: The hands and hour markers are coated with a luminous material that absorbs light and glows in the dark, allowing for easy time reading in low-light conditions.

Maintenance
Water Resistance (3ATM)
Your watch is rated 3ATM (30 meters) water resistant. This means it is suitable for daily use and can withstand splashes, rain, and hand washing. It is NOT suitable for showering, swimming, diving, or any prolonged water immersion. Exposure to hot water or steam should also be avoided as it can compromise the seals.

Cleaning
To maintain the appearance of your watch:
- Wipe the case and band regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
- For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying.
- Avoid using chemical cleaners, solvents, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the watch's finish.
Storage
When not wearing your watch, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Avoid placing it near strong magnetic fields (e.g., speakers, refrigerators, microwaves), as magnetism can affect the accuracy of mechanical movements.
Troubleshooting
- Watch Not Running: If the watch has stopped, manually wind it by rotating the crown clockwise 30-40 times. Ensure it is worn regularly to keep the automatic movement powered.
- Inaccurate Time: Mechanical watches can be affected by shocks or strong magnetic fields. If the time is consistently inaccurate, try demagnetizing the watch (a jeweler can do this) or seek professional service.
- Date/Day Not Changing: Ensure the time is set correctly, especially passing midnight. Avoid adjusting the calendar functions between 9 PM and 3 AM.
- Condensation Inside Crystal: This indicates a breach in the water resistance. Stop using the watch immediately and seek professional repair to prevent further damage to the movement.
User Tips
- For consistent timekeeping, wear your automatic watch daily or use a watch winder if you rotate between multiple watches.
- When setting the time, it's often best practice to set it a few minutes ahead and then turn it back to the correct time to ensure all gears are properly engaged.
- Avoid dropping the watch or subjecting it to harsh impacts, as this can damage the delicate mechanical components.
