Notice: Users can change the output phase mode and output voltage by setup menu. Please read the chapter 6.1.2 Setting. The output voltage corresponds to item [38] of the parameter setting, and the output phase voltage can be set within the range of 200V to 240V.
4.3 Communication Interface Setup
The system includes various communication ports for monitoring and control.

Image: Overview of the Battery Communication Interface, showing labeled ports including RS485-1, USB-B, CAN/RS485-2, Dry contact, LED Indicator, RST, ADS, DCT, and RS232.
RS485-1 Port
The RS485-1 port is used to connect to the Wi-Fi/GPRS data acquisition module, which allows the user to view the operating status and parameters of the inverter via a mobile phone APP.

Image: Inverter Communication Interface details for the RS485-1 port, including pin definitions (Pin 1: 5V, Pin 2: GND, Pin 7: RS485-A, Pin 8: RS485-B) and QR codes for downloading the mobile app from the App Store and Google Play.
Notice: The Wi-Fi/GPRS data acquisition module needs to be purchased separately. User can scan the QR code to download the mobile APP.
USB-B Port

5. Operation
5.1 Display and Controls
The system features an Inverter Display and a Battery Display to monitor operational status and parameters. Use the UP, SET, DOWN, and ENT buttons on the control panel to navigate menus and adjust settings.
5.2 Time-Slot Functions
The system supports time-slot based utility charging/carrying and battery discharging functions to optimize energy usage based on electricity tariffs.

Image: Graph illustrating Peak-Valley Electricity Tariff and diagrams for Time-slot Utility Charging/Carrying Function and Time-slot Battery Discharging Function. Before using this function, set the local time in parameter items 54, 55. Users can set up to 3 definable periods for both functions.
- Time-slot Utility Charging/Carrying Function: With 3 definable periods, the user can freely set the mains charging/carrying time within the range of 00:00 to 23:59. During the time period set by the user, if PV energy is available, PV energy will be used first, and if PV energy is not available or insufficient, utility energy will be used as a supplement.
- Time-slot Battery Discharging Function: With 3 definable periods, the user can freely set the battery discharge time within the range of 00:00 to 23:59. During the time period set by the user, the inverter will give priority to the battery inverter to carry the load, and if the battery power is insufficient, the inverter will automatically switch to mains power to ensure stable operation of the load.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Tewaycell Home Solar System.
- Periodically inspect all electrical connections for tightness and signs of wear or corrosion.
- Ensure the area around the unit remains clean and free of obstructions to maintain proper ventilation.
- If storing the battery for an extended period, ensure it is in a cool, dry place (<35°C) with 30%~50% State of Charge (SOC), and perform a charge and discharge cycle every 3 months.
- Do not attempt to service internal components unless you are a qualified technician.
7. Troubleshooting
This section provides general guidance for common issues. For complex problems, please contact customer support.
- System Not Powering On: Check all power connections, ensure the main AC input is active, and verify the battery charge level.
- No Output Power: Check AC output connections, ensure the inverter is enabled, and verify the load is within the system's rated capacity.
- Communication Issues: Ensure communication cables are securely connected. If using a Wi-Fi module, verify its connection and app settings.
- Unusual Noises or Smells: Immediately power down the system and contact customer support. Do not attempt to diagnose or fix the issue yourself.
