- Firmware Updates: Ensure your Tuya Smart / Smart Life app and the device firmware are up to date for optimal performance and security. The app will usually notify you of available updates.
- Environmental Conditions: Ensure the device operates within its specified operating temperature and humidity ranges to prolong its lifespan.
7. Troubleshooting
- Device Not Powering On: Check the input wiring and ensure the power supply is within the rated voltage range.
- Wi-Fi Connection Issues:
- Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. 5GHz networks are not supported.
- Verify the Wi-Fi password entered in the app is correct.
- Make sure the device is in pairing mode (Wi-Fi indicator flashing rapidly). If not, press and hold the Wi-Fi button for 5 seconds.
- Move the device closer to your Wi-Fi router to improve signal strength.
- Protection Tripping Frequently: Review your alarm settings in the app. The thresholds for over/under voltage, over current, and leakage protection might be set too sensitively for your electrical load. Adjust these settings as needed.
