4.1 Camera Controls

  • MENU/WIFI Button: Accesses the menu or activates Wi-Fi.
  • OK Button: Confirms selections.
  • UP/EV+ Button: Navigates up or increases exposure value.
  • START/STOP Button: Starts or stops recording/capturing.
  • POWER/Down/EV- Button: Powers the device on/off, navigates down, or decreases exposure value.
  • MODE Button: Switches between video, photo, and playback modes.
  • T/W Button: Controls zoom (Telephoto/Wide).
  • Indicator Light: Shows camera status.

5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation

  1. Open the battery compartment cover.
  2. Insert the provided lithium battery, ensuring correct polarity.
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

5.2 SD Card Installation

The camera does not have built-in storage. An SD card (up to 256GB) is required for recording and storing media.

  1. Locate the SD card slot.
  2. Insert the SD card with the metal contacts facing the correct direction until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, press the card gently until it pops out.

5.3 Attaching Accessories

The camcorder supports various external accessories to enhance your recording experience.

5.3.1 External Microphone

Attach an external microphone to the hot shoe mount on top of the camera and connect its cable to the MIC port for improved audio quality.

5.3.2 Fill Light

Mount an external fill light onto the hot shoe for better illumination in low-light conditions.

For more stable footage, especially during movement, attach the camcorder to a handheld stabilizer.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

Press and hold the POWER/Down/EV- button to turn the camera on or off.

6.2 Basic Recording and Photography

  1. Turn on the camera.
  2. Use the MODE button to switch between video recording mode and photo capture mode.
  3. In video mode, press the START/STOP button to begin recording. Press again to stop.
  4. In photo mode, press the START/STOP button to take a picture.

6.3 Using the 3.0-inch IPS Touch Screen

The 3.0-inch IPS screen can rotate 270 degrees, allowing for flexible viewing angles. Use the touch functionality to navigate menus, adjust settings, and review footage.

6.4 Zoom Function

Use the T/W button to adjust the zoom. The camera features 3X optical zoom and 10X digital zoom for capturing distant subjects.

6.5 Anti-shake Function

The camcorder is equipped with 6-axis gyroscope anti-shake technology to minimize blur caused by camera movement. This feature is automatically enabled or can be toggled in the settings menu for smoother video recording.

6.6 Special Recording Features

Access the menu to enable features such as Slow Motion, Motion Detection, Loop Recording, Time Recording, and Time-lapse shooting. The camera also supports Face Detection and Smile Capture for photography.

6.7 Wi-Fi Function

Activate Wi-Fi via the MENU/WIFI button. Connect your smartphone or tablet to the camera's Wi-Fi network to wirelessly transfer files and control the camera remotely using a dedicated app.

6.8 Webcam Function and HDMI Output

6.9 System Language Settings

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning the Camera
