4. Setup

4.1 Powering the Camera

  1. Locate the USB charging port on the back of the camera.
  2. Connect the provided USB cable to the camera's port and the other end to a compatible USB power adapter (not always included) or a power source.

4.2 Installing a TF Card (Optional)

To enable local video recording, install a TF (microSD) card:

  1. Locate the TF card jack on the camera (refer to Figure 5).
  2. Gently insert a compatible TF card (up to 32GB) into the slot until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, gently push the card in again until it springs out.

4.3 App Download and Account Registration

  1. Download the IWFCam App from your mobile device's app store (Android or iOS).
  2. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to register a new account or log in if you already have one.

4.4 Connecting to Wi-Fi

  1. Ensure your mobile device is connected to a 2.4GHz or 5GHz Wi-Fi network (the camera supports 5G Wifi).
  2. In the IWFCam App, tap to add a new device.
  3. Follow the app's instructions, which typically involve scanning a QR code displayed on your phone with the camera, or connecting via an audible pairing sound.
  4. Wait for the camera to connect to your Wi-Fi network. The indicator light will change to a solid color (e.g., blue) once connected.

4.5 Mounting the Camera

The A4 camera offers flexible mounting options:

  • Tabletop: Place the camera on any flat surface. The adjustable stand allows for optimal positioning.
  • Wall/Ceiling Mount: Use the provided mounting accessories (base and adhesive pad) to securely attach the camera to a wall or ceiling. Ensure the surface is clean and dry before applying the adhesive.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Live View and Remote Monitoring

Once connected, open the IWFCam App to view the live feed from your camera. You can monitor your home remotely from anywhere with an internet connection.

5.2 Motion Detection and Alarms

The camera features intelligent motion detection. When activity is detected within the camera's recording range, the IWFCam App will send a real-time push notification to your mobile device, alerting you to potential events.

5.3 Night Vision
