This manual provides detailed instructions for installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance of your smart lock.

4. Door Compatibility

The WELOCK TOUCA51 Smart Lock is designed for Euro profile cylinders. Please ensure your door is compatible before installation.

• Compatible: Euro profile cylinder.
• Incompatible: UK Oval cylinder, Knob cylinder, Armor door, Swiss round cylinder, Vintage door lock.

The distance between the cylinder hole and the door frame must be ≥40mm. If the center of the keyhole is less than 40mm from the door frame, installation is not possible.

5. Setup and Installation

The WELOCK TOUCA51 Smart Lock is designed for easy DIY installation without the need for drilling or a locksmith. Follow these steps carefully.

5.1. Adjusting the Cylinder Length

1. Loosen the screw on the cylinder with the provided screwdriver.
2. Adjust the interior and exterior length of the handle by pulling it out as needed.
3. Once the desired length is achieved, tighten the screws.
4. Plug the adjustment holes with the silicone plugs for a waterproof seal.

5.2. Installing Batteries

The lock requires 3 AAA batteries (not included).

1. Loosen the screws on the battery cover with the Allen key.
2. Open the stainless steel cover.
3. Open the battery cover.
4. Insert 3 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
5. Close the battery cover and tighten the screws.

5.3. Physical Installation

1. Remove the fixing screw and the original cylinder from your door.
2. Take out the screws and remove the rear handle of the WELOCK smart lock.
3. Install the smart lock cylinder into the lock hole from the outside.
4. Secure the lock with the installation fixing screws.
5. Install the rear handle.
6. Fix the rear handle with its screw.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Unlocking Methods

The WELOCK TOUCA51 Smart Lock offers multiple ways to unlock your door:

• Fingerprint Unlocking: Place your registered finger on the sensor. The lock features a built-in AI chip with a 99.8% recognition rate and a recognition time of less than 0.3 seconds. It can store up to 100 fingerprints.
• Keypad Passcode: Enter your programmed passcode on the keypad. The lock supports anti-peep passcodes, allowing you to enter random digits before or after your actual code to prevent others from guessing it.
• RFID Card: Swipe a registered RFID card over the lock's sensor.
• Bluetooth App Control: Use the WELOCK app on your iOS or Android smartphone to unlock the door via Bluetooth.
• USB Backup Key: In case of emergency (e.g., battery depletion), connect a power bank to the lock via a USB cable to temporarily power it, then use the WELOCK app to unlock.
• Voice Control (Optional): With a WIFIBOX3 gateway, you can control your lock using Alexa voice commands.

6.2. Automatic Locking

The lock features automatic locking after 7-14 seconds of being unlocked, providing an extra layer of security.

6.3. App Control and Permissions

The WELOCK app allows you to manage your lock from anywhere, grant temporary access, and view unlock records. You can create up to 200 customized codes for family, friends, service, and guests.

6.4. Voice Control (Alexa)

For a smarter home experience, integrate your WELOCK ToucA51 with Alexa. A WIFIBOX3 gateway is required for this functionality.

7. Programming and Settings

The lock can be programmed directly via the keypad or through the WELOCK app. The following flowcharts outline common programming tasks.

7.1. Passcode Management

• Modify Default Master Code: Change the initial '123456' master code to your personal Admin passcode.
• Modify Admin Passcode: Update your existing Admin passcode.
• Add User Passcode: Create new passcodes for individual users.
• Delete User Passcode: Remove specific user passcodes.
• Clear All User Passcodes: Erase all programmed user passcodes.

7.2. RFID Card Management

• Add RFID Card: Register new RFID cards.
• Delete RFID Card: Remove specific RFID cards.
• Clear All RFID Cards: Erase all registered RFID cards.

7.3. Other Settings

• Language Settings: Switch between German, Chinese, and English.
• Silent Mode: Enable or disable sound feedback from the lock.
• Bluetooth On/Off: Toggle Bluetooth connectivity.
• Modify Default Auto Lock Time: Adjust the duration before the lock automatically engages (5-14 seconds).
• Vacation Mode (ON/OFF): Activate or deactivate vacation mode for enhanced security when away.
• Restore Factory Defaults: Reset the lock to its original factory settings.

8. Maintenance

8.1. Battery Replacement

The lock will display a "Battery Low" prompt on the screen and emit three "beep beep beep" sounds when the battery level drops below 20%. Please replace the 3 AAA batteries promptly when this alarm appears to ensure continuous operation.

8.2. General Care

Clean the lock surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or electronic components.

9. Troubleshooting

• Lock not responding after installation: Ensure batteries are correctly installed and charged. Check that the cylinder length was adjusted properly and screws are tightened.
• Forgot default password: When you first receive the lock, modify the default password "123456" to your own admin password. If forgotten, you may need to perform a factory reset (refer to programming section).
• Cannot find lock ID: The lock ID (8-digit number) can be found on the middle of the lock body or on the product packing box.
• Low battery alarm: The alarm triggers when the battery level is below 20%. Replace batteries immediately.
• Lock is unresponsive due to dead battery: Use a power bank to charge the lock via a USB cable, then use the WELOCK app to unlock.
• Lock is temporarily locked: If you enter the wrong passcode 5 times continuously, or swipe an unmatched RFID card 5 times continuously, the system will lock for three minutes. Wait for the lockout period to expire.
• Incompatibility with Swiss round cylinder: The lock is designed for Euro profile cylinders and is not compatible with Swiss round cylinders.

10. User Tips

• Upon receiving your lock, immediately change the default master password to a strong, unique admin password.
• Keep a record of your lock ID and admin password in a secure place.
• Regularly check the battery status and replace AAA batteries promptly when the low battery alert appears.
• For emergencies, always have a power bank readily available to use with the USB backup unlocking feature.
• The lock is generally easy to install, but ensure your door's cylinder type and dimensions match the compatibility requirements before starting.
