4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

To maintain optimal performance and hygiene, regularly clean your earphones and charging case.

  • Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the earphones and charging case.
  • For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaner.
  • Avoid getting moisture into any openings. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Gently clean the charging contacts on both the earphones and the case with a dry cotton swab.

4.2 Water Resistance

The KINYO A7 earphones are rated IPX4 water resistant, meaning they are protected against splashing water from any direction. This makes them suitable for workouts and light rain, but they are not designed for submersion in water.

  • Do not intentionally submerge the earphones in water.
  • Avoid exposing them to high-pressure water streams.
  • If they get wet, wipe them dry thoroughly before placing them back in the charging case.
