3. Product Overview

The BOBLOV A28 is a compact body camera designed for ease of use and durability. It features a front-facing lens with integrated night vision LEDs, a rear display screen for live view and playback, and intuitive control buttons.

4. Initial Setup

4.1. Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the camera's internal battery. Connect the supplied USB cable to the camera's Type-C port and plug the other end into a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port. The charging indicator will show the charging status and turn off when fully charged.

4.2. Inserting the MicroSD Card

The BOBLOV A28 supports up to 128GB MicroSD cards. Locate the card slot on the side of the camera. Gently insert the MicroSD card with the gold contacts facing the front of the camera until it clicks into place. To remove, push the card in again until it springs out.

Note: Ensure the camera is powered off before inserting or removing the MicroSD card to prevent data corruption.

5. Operation

5.1. Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power button until the screen illuminates.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button until the camera shuts down.

5.2. Video Recording

Once powered on, the camera is typically in standby mode. Press the Record button (usually marked with a red dot or camera icon) to start video recording. Press it again to stop recording.

5.3. Night Vision

The A28 features automatic or manual night vision. In low-light conditions, the camera can automatically switch to night vision mode, utilizing infrared LEDs to capture clear footage in darkness. Refer to the on-screen menu for specific settings to enable/disable auto night vision or activate it manually.

5.4. Loop Recording

The camera supports loop recording, which means when the storage card is full, the camera will automatically overwrite the oldest files to make space for new recordings. This ensures continuous coverage without manual intervention.

5.5. Playback

To review recorded footage, navigate to the playback mode using the menu buttons. Select the desired video or photo file and press the OK button to view it on the camera's screen.

5.6. Mounting Options

The BOBLOV A28 comes with a 360° clip and a bike mount for versatile attachment. The 1/4 inch thread on the camera allows for secure mounting on various accessories.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera body. For the lens, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth and solution.
  • Storage: Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge it regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.
