4. Safety Information

To ensure safe operation and prevent damage to the robot or injury, please adhere to the following safety guidelines:

  • Always connect the safety rope to a secure anchor point before placing the robot on a window, especially for high-rise cleaning.
  • Ensure the robot is continuously powered during operation. The built-in battery is for backup during accidental power outages, providing 20 minutes of adsorption and continuous alarming.
  • Do not use the robot on cracked, damaged, or uneven glass surfaces.
  • Keep hands and loose clothing away from the robot's moving parts during operation.
  • Do not immerse the robot in water or spray water directly onto its electronic components.
  • Use only the provided adapter and power cable.
  • Keep the robot out of reach of children and pets.
  • The laser sensor detects edges to prevent falling; however, always monitor the robot during operation.
  • Remove any obstacles or loose items from the window surface before starting the cleaning process.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your Liectroux YW910 robot.

  • Cleaning Cloths: After each use, remove the microfibre cleaning cloths. They are machine-washable and can be reused. Ensure they are completely dry before reattaching.
  • Water Tank: Empty any remaining water from the tank after use. If using cleaning solution, rinse the tank with clean water to prevent residue buildup.
  • Robot Body: Wipe the robot's exterior with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and debris. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the robot in water.
  • Sensors: Periodically clean the laser sensors and edge detection sensors with a soft, dry cloth to ensure accurate navigation and fall prevention.
  • Storage: Store the robot in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Robot not adhering to window:
    • Ensure the window surface is clean and dry.
    • Check if the suction cups or cleaning cloths are dirty or damaged.
    • Verify the power cable is securely connected and the robot is receiving continuous power.
  • Robot stops or alarms during cleaning:
    • If a power outage occurs, the robot will alarm and remain adsorbed for 20 minutes. Safely remove the robot from the window within this time.
    • If the robot announces "no water in the water tank," refill the tank and resume cleaning.
    • Check for obstacles on the window surface or issues with the edge detection sensors.
  • Poor cleaning performance:
    • Replace or clean the microfibre cloths.
    • Ensure the water tank is filled and the spray nozzles are not blocked.
    • Select an appropriate cleaning mode for the window type and dirt level.
  • Remote control or APP not working:
    • Check the batteries in the remote control.
    • Ensure the robot is powered on and within range for remote control or app connection.
    • For app control, verify Bluetooth/Wi-Fi connection and restart the app if necessary.

9. User Tips

  • Power Connection: The robot is designed to operate while plugged into a power source. The internal battery serves as a safety backup in case of power interruption, allowing you time to safely retrieve the robot. It is not intended for cordless operation.
  • Microfiber Cloths: The package includes two microfiber cleaning cloths. Additional cloths can often be purchased from the manufacturer's official store or authorized retailers.
  • Water vs. Cleaning Solution: While water is sufficient for light cleaning, a dedicated window cleaning solution can enhance results, especially for stubborn dirt. Ensure any solution used is compatible with the robot's water spray system.
  • Initial Placement: For best results, place the robot near the top edge of the window, allowing it to map the entire surface efficiently.

10. Warranty and Support

The Liectroux YW910 Window Cleaning Robot comes with a 5-year warranty, reflecting the manufacturer's commitment to quality and durability.
