3.2 Mounting the Display Unit
- Attach the magnetic bracket to your motorcycle's handlebar or a suitable flat surface. Ensure it is securely fastened and provides a clear view of the screen without obstructing your riding.
- Align the EKIY M9 display unit with the magnetic plate on the bracket. The strong magnets will automatically secure the display in place.
- Verify that the display is firmly attached and does not wobble.

3.3 Wiring the Power Supply
- Connect the provided power cable to the EKIY M9 unit.
- Connect the other end of the power cable to your motorcycle's ACC (Accessory) power source. This ensures the device powers on and off with your motorcycle's ignition.
- Ensure all connections are secure and protected from the elements.
3.4 Optional DVR Camera Installation
If your model includes DVR cameras:
- Mount the front and rear cameras in desired locations, ensuring a clear, unobstructed view.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off
The EKIY M9 unit will automatically power on when your motorcycle's ignition is turned on and power off when the ignition is turned off, thanks to the ACC power connection.
4.2 Initial Setup and Language Selection
Upon first power-on, you may be prompted to select your preferred language. Navigate through the options using the touchscreen and confirm your selection.
4.3 Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto Connection
To use Wireless CarPlay or Android Auto, you need to connect your smartphone to the EKIY M9 via Bluetooth.
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
- On the EKIY M9, navigate to the Bluetooth settings (usually found under 'System' or 'Settings').
- Search for available devices on your smartphone and select the EKIY M9 (e.g., "carkit_80C9").
- Confirm the pairing request on both devices.
- Once paired, select either 'CarPlay' (for iPhone) or 'Android Auto' (for Android phones) on the EKIY M9 screen. Your phone's interface will then be displayed on the unit.
4.4 Using CarPlay (iPhone)
After connecting, your iPhone's CarPlay interface will appear on the EKIY M9 screen. You can access:
- Navigation: Use Apple Maps or other compatible navigation apps.
- Music: Play music from your iPhone's library or streaming services.
- Phone Calls: Make and receive calls hands-free.
- Messages: Send and receive messages using Siri.

4.5 Using Android Auto (Android Phone)
After connecting, your Android phone's Android Auto interface will appear on the EKIY M9 screen. You can access:

4.6 Wireless Mirror Link (Airplay/Autolink)

4.7 DVR Operation (Optional)

- From the main menu, select the 'DRV' icon to view live camera feeds.
- Adjust recording settings such as file sharding duration (1, 3, or 5 minutes), watermark information, and post-recording image options in the 'Record' settings.

4.8 TPMS Operation (Optional)
If your unit includes TPMS sensors, tire pressure and temperature data will be transmitted in real-time via Bluetooth and displayed on the screen. Abnormal data will be highlighted immediately.
4.9 System Settings
Access the 'Settings' icon from the main menu to configure various aspects of your device:

- WiFi: View WiFi SSID and password, change channel.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Display
To clean the screen, use a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-safe cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the screen.
5.2 Waterproofing
The EKIY M9 unit is rated IP67 waterproof, meaning it is protected against dust and can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. While designed for outdoor use, avoid prolonged submersion or high-pressure water jets directly on the unit.

5.3 Storage
When not in use for extended periods, especially in extreme temperatures, it is recommended to detach the display unit from its magnetic bracket and store it in a cool, dry place. The magnetic bracket allows for easy removal and reattachment.
