5. Setup

5.1 Unfolding the Drone

  1. Carefully remove the drone from its packaging.
  2. Unfold the drone arms until they click into place. Ensure all four arms are fully extended.

5.2 Battery Installation and Charging

  1. Insert the 3.7V 2000mAh LiPo body battery into the drone's battery compartment. Ensure it is securely seated.
  2. To charge the battery, connect the USB charging cable to the battery and a suitable USB power source (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter).
  3. The charging time is approximately 60 minutes. Do not overcharge the battery.

5.3 Remote Control Setup

  1. Install batteries (not specified, typically AA or AAA) into the remote control.
  2. Ensure your mobile phone is charged if you plan to use the APP for control or FPV.

5.4 App Installation

Download and install the official drone control application from your mobile device's app store (Google Play for Android, App Store for iOS). Refer to the included APP manual for detailed instructions on pairing and features.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

  1. Power On Drone: Press and hold the power button on the drone until the indicator lights turn on.
  2. Power On Remote Control: Press the power button on the remote control. The remote will automatically pair with the drone.
  3. Power Off: Reverse the power-on sequence.

6.2 Take-off and Landing

  • One-Touch Take-off: Press the one-touch take-off button on the remote control or in the app. The drone will automatically ascend to a safe hovering altitude.
  • Manual Take-off: Push both joysticks on the remote control outwards and downwards to arm the motors, then slowly push the left joystick up to ascend.
  • One-Touch Landing: Press the one-touch landing button. The drone will automatically descend and land.
  • Manual Landing: Slowly pull the left joystick down to descend.

6.3 Flight Modes and Features

  • Altitude Hold Mode: Provides stable flight by maintaining a consistent altitude.
  • Headless Mode: Eliminates the need to distinguish the drone's head direction, making control easier.
  • 3 Flight Speed Levels: Adjust flight speed for different skill levels or conditions.
  • Optical Flow Localization: Enables smart hover and fixed-point hovering for stable flight, especially indoors or at low altitudes.
  • 3-Sided Obstacle Avoidance: The drone is equipped with front, left, and right environmental perception capabilities, using LED fill light and infrared obstacle avoidance sensors to detect and avoid obstacles within 60cm. Note: Transparent obstacles like glass may not be detected.
  • Waypoint Flight: Draw a desired flight path on the app screen, and the drone will follow it automatically.
  • Orbital Movement (Surround Flight): The drone can fly in circles around a designated point, providing dynamic camera angles.
  • Gesture Photo/Video: Use specific hand gestures to trigger photo or video recording.
  • 360° Stunt Show: Perform one-click 360-degree aerial stunts.
  • 50x Zoom Shooting: Utilize the camera's 1-50 times zoom feature for distant shots.
  • One-Touch Return: Press the return button, and the drone will automatically fly back to its take-off position.

6.4 Camera Operation

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the drone and remote control. Do not use harsh chemicals or solvents.
  • Propeller Inspection: Regularly check propellers for any damage (cracks, bends). Replace damaged propellers immediately using the provided spare blades and screwdriver.
