  1. Power Interface: Connects to a 9V DC power adapter (negative inside and positive outside).
  2. USB Interface: A 5V 1A input that supplies power to the pedal.
  3. LEVEL Knob: Adjusts the overall output volume of the effect.
  4. TONE Knob: Controls the brightness and EQ of the overdrive sound.
  5. GAIN Knob: Adjusts the amount of overdrive/overload.
  6. Output Jack: 1/4" mono audio jack for connecting to your amplifier or next pedal in the signal chain.
  7. Input Jack: 1/4" mono audio jack for connecting your guitar.
  8. LED Indicator: Illuminates when the effect is active and turns off when in bypass mode.
  9. Foot Switch: Toggles the effect on/off (engages/bypasses the pedal).

4. Setup

  1. Power Connection: Connect a standard 9V DC power adapter (negative center, positive outer) to the Power Interface (1) or use the 5V 1A USB interface (2) for power. Note: The power adapter is not included.
  2. Instrument Connection: Connect your guitar to the Input Jack (7) of the pedal using a 1/4" mono instrument cable.
  3. Amplifier Connection: Connect the Output Jack (6) of the pedal to your amplifier's input (or the input of the next pedal in your chain) using another 1/4" mono instrument cable.
  4. Power On: Once all connections are secure, apply power to the pedal. The LED (8) will indicate the pedal's status.

5. Operating Instructions

  1. Engaging/Bypassing the Effect: Press the Foot Switch (9) to toggle the overdrive effect on or off. The LED (8) will light up when the effect is active and turn off when bypassed.
  2. Adjusting Volume (LEVEL): Rotate the LEVEL knob (3) clockwise to increase the output volume of the effect, and counter-clockwise to decrease it.
  3. Shaping Tone (TONE): Use the TONE knob (4) to adjust the brightness of your sound. Turning it clockwise will make the tone brighter and more cutting, while turning it counter-clockwise will make it warmer and darker.
  4. Controlling Overdrive (GAIN): The GAIN knob (5) controls the amount of distortion or 'overload'. Turn it clockwise for more saturated, heavier overdrive, and counter-clockwise for a cleaner, lighter boost.

Experiment with different combinations of LEVEL, TONE, and GAIN to find your desired blues-rock sound. The pedal is designed to be responsive to your guitar's volume and tone controls as well as your playing dynamics.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the pedal's surface. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, which may damage the finish or internal components.
  • Storage: Store the pedal in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Disconnect power when not in use for extended periods.
  • Cable Care: Ensure all cables are in good condition and properly connected to prevent signal loss or damage.

7. Troubleshooting

  • No Sound:
    • Check all cable connections (guitar to input, output to amp).
    • Ensure the power adapter is correctly connected and supplying 9V DC power.
    • Verify your guitar and amplifier are working correctly.
    • Check the LEVEL knob is not set to minimum.
  • Unwanted Noise/Hum:
    • Ensure you are using a regulated 9V DC power supply specifically designed for guitar pedals.
    • Check for faulty cables.
    • Try isolating the pedal from other electronic devices that might cause interference.
  • Effect Not Engaging:
    • Press the footswitch firmly. The LED should illuminate when the effect is active.
    • Ensure the pedal is receiving power.
