The Yonii Q2PLUS is an intelligent two-slot battery charger designed with a microcomputer management system. It features two independent charging channels, ensuring safe and reliable charging for various battery types. This charger also includes a power bank function and advanced capacity analysis capabilities for the first channel.

  • Never attempt to charge disposable batteries (e.g., Zinc-carbon, disposable Li-ion, CR123A, CR2) or any batteries not designed for recharging, as this can lead to fire or explosion.

Setup

  1. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the charger and a DC 5V 2A power adapter (not included).
  2. Ensure the power adapter is connected to a power source.
  3. Insert compatible batteries into the charging slots. Ensure the battery's protective cover is intact and the polarity is correct.

Operating Instructions

1. Basic Charging

  1. After connecting the power supply, insert a compatible battery into a slot.
  2. The charger will automatically identify the battery type and begin charging. The screen will display charging data.
  3. Press the "C" button to view the charging status information for channel 1 and channel 2.

2. Current Setting

  • Short press the "A" button to cycle through charging current options: 0.5A, 1A, and 2A.

3. Capacity Test Setting (Channel 1 Only)

  1. Insert a battery into the first (left) slot.
  2. Press and hold both "A" and "C" buttons simultaneously until "Test" flashes on the screen.
  3. After 5 seconds, the charger will automatically enter Battery Capacity Analysis Mode.
  4. In this mode, the battery will first be fully charged, then discharged at a constant current of 0.5A. The real-time capacity will be calculated and saved.
  5. After discharge, the battery will be fully charged again and then stop. The recorded mAh value represents the discharge capacity.
  6. To exit Capacity Analysis Mode: Press and hold "A" and "C" until "Test" flashes, then short press "A" ONCE. "Test" will disappear.

4. Discharge Test (Channel 1 Only)

  1. Insert a battery into the first (left) slot.
  2. Press and hold both "A" and "C" buttons simultaneously until "Test" flashes.
  3. Short press "A" TWICE to enter Only Discharge Test mode. "Discharger" will flash.
  4. In this mode, the charger will fully discharge the battery and calculate the data.

5. Power Bank Function (Right Slot Only)

  • The right charging slot can be used to output power to charge other devices.
  • Insert a charged battery into the right slot.
  • Connect your device (e.g., smartphone) to the charger's USB output port using a suitable cable.
  • The output power is 5W.

6. Power Display and Automatic Stop

  • The charger features a power display indicating the charge level (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%).
  • It automatically stops charging when batteries are fully charged, providing automatic power-off protection.

Maintenance

  • Regularly clean the positive and negative contact points within the charging slots to ensure optimal electrical contact and prevent charging issues.
  • Store the charger in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Troubleshooting

  • Charger shows charging for a fully charged Ni-MH/Ni-Cd battery: This is a normal characteristic of Ni-MH/Ni-Cd batteries and does not indicate a fault with the charger.
  • Discharge voltage deviation when measured with a multi-meter: The discharge voltage is measured under a 0.5A load. Measuring the battery with a multi-meter after removal may show a deviation due to battery characteristics. This is considered normal.
  • Charger not working: Ensure the Type-C cable is securely connected and the power adapter provides DC 5V 2A. Check for any damage to the batteries or charger.
