4. Setup Guide

4.1. Battery Installation

  1. Remote Controller Battery: Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote controller. Insert one CR2032 button battery, ensuring correct polarity.
  2. RC Car Battery: The RC car comes with a built-in rechargeable lithium battery. No installation is required.

4.2. Charging the RC Car

  1. Connect the provided Type-C USB charging cable to the charging port on the RC car.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
  3. The charging indicator light on the car will show charging status (e.g., red for charging, off when fully charged).
  4. A full charge takes approximately 50 minutes and provides up to 50 minutes of playtime.

4.3. App Download and Connection

  1. Scan the QR code in the product packaging or search for the 'JCMO RC Car' app on your smartphone's app store (iOS/Android).
  2. Download and install the app.
  3. Ensure your smartphone's Bluetooth is enabled.
  4. Turn on the RC car.
  5. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to connect to the RC car via Bluetooth.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Power On/Off

  • RC Car: Locate the power switch on the car and slide it to the 'ON' position to power on. Slide to 'OFF' to power off.
  • Remote Controller: The remote controller typically powers on automatically when a button is pressed or when the car is powered on and paired.

5.2. Control Methods

The JCMO Mini RC Car offers two primary control methods:

5.2.1. 2.4Ghz Remote Control

Use the included physical remote controller for direct control. The remote operates on a 2.4Ghz frequency for stable connection up to 15 meters.

5.2.2. Smartphone App Control

The dedicated app provides advanced control options:

  • Remote Control Mode: Virtual joysticks on your screen mimic a traditional remote control.
  • Gravity Sensing Mode: Tilt your phone to steer the car, providing an immersive driving experience.
  • Painting Mode: Draw a path on your screen, and the car will follow it.
  • Programming Mode: Program a sequence of movements for the car to execute.

5.3. Driving and Speed Control

  • Movement: Use the controls (remote or app) to move the car forward, backward, left, and right.
  • 3-Speed Dominator: The car features three speed settings: 40%, 70%, and 100%. Adjust the speed according to your skill level and environment. Start with 40% for mastering curves, move to 70% for overtaking, and use 100% for maximum speed.

5.4. Lights

The RC car is equipped with front and rear lights that flash according to the current mode, adding to the realism.

5.5. Connecting Carriages (Optional)

If your model includes a trailer, you can attach it to the rear of the RC car for additional fun. The trailer features an openable door for a more realistic experience.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Cleaning

  • Wipe the car's alloy shell and plastic parts with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Do not use water or chemical cleaners, as this may damage electronic components.
  • Remove any debris from the wheels and axles to ensure smooth operation.

6.2. Battery Care

  • Rechargeable Car Battery: To prolong battery life, avoid overcharging or completely draining the battery. Charge the car fully before long-term storage.
  • CR2032 Remote Battery: Replace the CR2032 battery when the remote's performance degrades or it stops responding.
  • Remove batteries from the remote controller if not in use for an extended period to prevent leakage.

6.3. Storage

  • Store the RC car and remote controller in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Keep the original packaging for safe storage and transport.

  • Optimal Charging: For best performance and battery longevity, always ensure the car's rechargeable battery is fully charged before each play session.
  • Creative Play: Utilize the optional trailer to enhance imaginative play scenarios, such as hauling small items or creating a mini convoy.
