Operating Instructions
Using the Flip Drawers for Shoes
The four flip drawers are designed for efficient shoe storage. Gently pull the handle to open a flip drawer. The drawer will tilt forward, revealing two compartments for shoes. Each compartment contains an adjustable panel.
Adjusting or Removing Panels
The internal panels within each flip drawer can be adjusted or removed to fit various shoe types:
- For standard shoes (flats, sneakers): Keep both panels in place to create two separate compartments per drawer.
- For taller shoes (heels, ankle boots): Remove the upper panel to create a single, larger compartment.
To adjust or remove a panel, gently lift it from its current position and reposition it in the desired slot or remove it completely. Refer to Figure 2 for a visual guide.

Using the Top Drawers
The two top drawers provide convenient storage for smaller items such as keys, wallets, sunglasses, or other entryway essentials. Simply pull the handle to open and push to close.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the cabinet surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or excessive moisture, as these can damage the finish.
- Dusting: Regularly dust the cabinet with a dry, soft cloth to prevent buildup.
- Hardware Check: Periodically check all screws, bolts, and fasteners to ensure they remain tight. Retighten if necessary to maintain structural integrity.
- Avoid Direct Sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause fading or discoloration of the cabinet finish.
- Protect from Moisture: Avoid placing the cabinet in areas with high humidity or direct contact with water to prevent warping or damage to the engineered wood.
Troubleshooting
Drawers not closing smoothly
- Check for Obstructions: Ensure no items are blocking the drawer's path or interfering with the flip mechanism.
- Verify Assembly: Recheck the assembly of the drawer slides and flip mechanisms. Ensure they are correctly aligned and securely fastened.
- Level Surface: Make sure the cabinet is placed on a level surface. Uneven flooring can cause misalignment.
Cabinet feels unstable or wobbly
- Tighten Hardware: Ensure all assembly screws and fasteners are fully tightened.
- Leveling: Adjust the cabinet's position or use shims under the feet to ensure it is level on the floor.
- Wall Anchoring: If not already done, install the anti-tipping kit to secure the cabinet to the wall.
Shoes do not fit in flip drawers
- Adjust Panels: Ensure the internal adjustable panels are set to the correct height for your shoes. For taller shoes like heels or ankle boots, remove the upper panel to create a single, larger compartment.
- Check Dimensions: Refer to the specifications (Figure 1) for the internal dimensions of the flip drawers to confirm if your shoes exceed the maximum capacity.
User Tips
- Maximize Space: Utilize the adjustable panels in the flip drawers to customize storage for different shoe types, from flats to heels.
- Entryway Organization: Use the top drawers for quick access items like keys, mail, or small accessories to keep your entryway tidy.
- Regular Cleaning: A quick wipe-down regularly will keep your cabinet looking new and prevent dust accumulation.
