4. Operation
4.1. DPI Adjustment
The mouse features adjustable DPI (Dots Per Inch) settings, allowing you to customize sensitivity for different tasks or games. The DPI levels are indicated by different LED colors.
- SC900/SC900SE (PAW3395 Sensor): Six DPI levels up to 26000DPI. Default settings: 400DPI (Red), 800DPI (Blue), 1600DPI (Purple), 3200DPI (Green), 6400DPI (Yellow), 26000DPI (Cyan).
- SC900Pro/MAX (PAW3950 Sensor): Six DPI levels up to 30000DPI. Default settings: 400DPI (Red), 800DPI (Blue), 1600DPI (Purple), 3200DPI (Green), 6400DPI (Yellow), 30000DPI (Cyan).

4.2. Polling Rate
The polling rate determines how often the mouse reports its position to the computer. A higher polling rate results in lower latency and more accurate tracking.
- SC900/SC900SE: Supports 1000Hz polling rate.
- SC900Pro/MAX: Supports up to 8000Hz polling rate in both wired and wireless modes, offering significantly lower latency compared to the industry standard 1000Hz.

Figure 6: 8KHz polling rate for enhanced responsiveness.
4.3. Button Functions
The mouse features 7 programmable buttons, including the primary left/right click, scroll wheel, DPI button, and side buttons. The primary key jog uses Huanyu 5000W micro-switches, and side keys use Huanyu 300W micro-switches, designed for a long service life of approximately 0.1 billion clicks.
4.4. Ergonomic Design
The AULA SC900 series features a classic right-handed ergonomic design, providing better hand support and comfort for various grip styles (palm, claw, fingertip). The comfortable surface treatment ensures a secure and pleasant grip during extended use.

5. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your AULA SC900 Gaming Mouse, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the mouse surface with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure no moisture enters the internal components. Clean the optical sensor area with a cotton swab to prevent tracking issues.
- Battery Care: Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the battery when the low battery indicator appears. If using the interchangeable battery system, ensure the spare battery is charged and stored in a cool, dry place.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the mouse in a dry, dust-free environment.
- Avoid Extreme Conditions: Do not expose the mouse to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or high humidity.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your AULA SC900 Gaming Mouse, try the following solutions:
- Mouse Not Responding (Wireless):
- Ensure the mouse is powered on and the battery is charged.
- Check if the 2.4G receiver is properly inserted into a USB port or if Bluetooth is enabled and paired.
- Try re-pairing the mouse (refer to Section 3.2.2 for 2.4G or 3.2.3 for Bluetooth).
- Move the mouse closer to the receiver/device to rule out interference.
- Mouse Not Responding (Wired):
- Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the mouse and the computer.
- Try a different USB port on your computer.
- Test with a different USB cable if available.
- DPI Not Changing:
- Ensure the mouse is powered on.
- Press the DPI adjustment button (usually located near the scroll wheel) to cycle through settings. Observe the LED indicator for changes.
- If using custom software, ensure settings are applied correctly.
- Lag or Disconnection:
- For 2.4G wireless, ensure the receiver is not obstructed and is close to the mouse. Avoid placing the receiver near other wireless devices that might cause interference.
- For Bluetooth, ensure your computer's Bluetooth drivers are up to date.
- Ensure the mouse battery is sufficiently charged.
- Tracking Issues:
- Clean the optical sensor on the underside of the mouse.
- Ensure you are using the mouse on a suitable surface (e.g., a mouse pad).
