  1. In the app, select the S01RF device and choose the DIY IR function.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to point your original remote at the S01RF blaster and press the desired button.
  3. The S01RF will learn and store the IR signal. Repeat for all necessary buttons.

4. Maintenance

  • Keep the device in a dry environment, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
  • Avoid dropping or subjecting the device to strong impacts.
  • Ensure the device is placed in a central location with a clear line of sight to IR-controlled appliances for optimal performance.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 General Issues

  • Device not powering on: Ensure the Type-C cable is securely connected to a DC 5V/1A power source.
  • App not finding the device: Make sure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. The S01RF does not support 5GHz WiFi.

5.2 RF Control Issues

  • RF device not responding:
    1. Verify that your RF device's working frequency is 315MHz or 433MHz. Check the appliance's manual.
    2. Confirm that your RF remote uses a fixed code, not a rolling code. The S01RF only supports fixed code RF signals for security reasons. If you are unsure, contact the seller or manufacturer of your RF appliance.

5.3 IR Control Issues

  • IR device not responding:
    1. Ensure the S01RF has a clear line of sight to the IR appliance. Obstructions can block IR signals.
    2. If using the DIY learning function, ensure the original remote was pointed directly at the S01RF during the learning process and that the buttons were pressed firmly.
    3. If using the app's built-in IR library, try different remote templates for your appliance brand.

7. User Tips

  • RF Compatibility Check: Before attempting to pair an RF device, always confirm its operating frequency (315MHz or 433MHz) and ensure it uses a fixed code. Rolling code remotes are a common reason for RF pairing failures.
  • WiFi Network: For a stable connection, ensure your S01RF is always connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. If your router broadcasts both 2.4GHz and 5GHz, make sure to select the 2.4GHz option during setup.
  • Placement: Position the S01RF in a central location within your room, ensuring it has an unobstructed view of all IR-controlled devices you wish to manage.
