4.3 Compatibility Note

IMPORTANT: The CIGMAN CLD-100 laser receiver is NOT compatible with Rotary Laser Levels. It is designed to be used ONLY with CIGMAN line laser levels such as CM701, CM720, CM508, and CM505.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

  • Press the power button (usually marked with a power symbol) to turn the receiver ON.
  • Press and hold the power button to turn the receiver OFF.
  • The receiver features a 10-minute auto shut-off function to conserve battery life if no laser signal is detected.

5.2 Activating Pulse Mode on Laser Level

Before using the CLD-100, ensure your compatible CIGMAN line laser level is set to Pulse Mode. This mode enables the laser receiver to detect the laser beam, especially over longer distances or in bright conditions.

5.3 Detecting the Laser Beam

Hold the receiver with the detection window facing the laser level. Move the receiver up or down until the indicator lights and beeper signal the laser line.

  • Indicator Lights: The CLD-100 has three indicator lights (front, side, and back) to provide clear visual feedback from multiple angles.
    • An arrow pointing up indicates the receiver needs to move up.
    • An arrow pointing down indicates the receiver needs to move down.
    • A horizontal line indicates the receiver is on the datum line.
  • Audible Beeper: The beeper provides an audible signal. The frequency of the beeps will change as you approach the laser line, becoming a continuous tone when the receiver is centered on the line.
  • Sound Mode Switch: Press the sound button (usually marked with a speaker symbol) to toggle the audible beeper ON or OFF.
