5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Jump Starting a Vehicle

The Eigotrav PD-270 can jump start 12V vehicles with petrol engines up to 7.5L and diesel engines up to 6.0L. This includes cars, SUVs, ATVs, motorcycles, motorboats, lawn mowers, tractors, trailers, and snowmobiles.

  1. Ensure the jump starter's battery level is above 50%.
  2. Connect the intelligent battery clamp to the jump starter's starter clip port.
  3. Connect the red (+) clamp to the positive terminal of the vehicle's battery.
  4. Connect the black (-) clamp to the negative terminal of the vehicle's battery.
  5. If the intelligent clamp indicates a correct connection (e.g., green light), turn on the jump starter's power switch.
  6. Start your vehicle.
  7. Once the vehicle starts, immediately remove the intelligent battery clamp from the vehicle battery, then disconnect it from the jump starter.

Safety Precautions for Jump Starting:

  • Never connect the black clamp to the red clamp.
  • If the positive and negative polarity of the smart clip is reversed, an alarm will sound. Correct the connection immediately.
  • Do not use the jump starter to start the vehicle continuously. Allow at least 30 seconds of rest between attempts.
  • Do NOT jump start your car if the jump starter gets too hot.
  • Not suitable for vehicles with engine displacement larger than the recommendation.

5.2 Using the Air Compressor

The built-in air compressor has a maximum pressure of 150 PSI for inflating tires and other items.

  1. Connect the air hose to the air outlet on the jump starter.
  2. Select the appropriate air nozzle for the item you wish to inflate and attach it to the air hose.
  3. Connect the air hose to the item (e.g., tire valve).
  4. Turn on the air compressor function. The LCD display will show the current pressure.
  5. Set the desired pressure using the controls.
  6. Start inflation. The compressor will automatically stop when the set pressure is reached.
  7. Disconnect the air hose and store the nozzles.
