- Record From:
- Built-in MIC: The built-in microphone is suitable for general recording. For optimal quality, especially with low output, external amplification may be needed.
- Line In: Allows direct recording of MP3 format files from external music players (e.g., mobile phones, cassette players, CD players). Best for full mixes and loud signals.
- Recording Sensitivity: Levels 1 to 7 are available. Increasing sensitivity captures more sound but also more background noise.
- Recording Monitor: When enabled, you can listen to the audio being recorded through headphones in real-time. Note: Recording Monitor and AVR Mode cannot be active simultaneously.
- AVR Mode (Voice Activated Recording): Turn on AVR Mode and press REC. The recorder will automatically start recording when sound reaches a certain level (VOR icon appears) and pause when the sound drops below that level. Sensitivity levels 1 to 7 are available. Higher sensitivity means lower decibel sounds can be captured. Attention: Do not use this function for critical lectures or meetings as it may skip important sentences at low decibel levels.
- Segment Recording: Automatically segments recordings into files of 30, 60, 90, or 120 minutes, saving each segment independently. This helps in managing large recording files.
- Timed Recording: Allows scheduled periodic recording. Choose from 'Single', 'Everyday', or 'Working day' cycles. Set start and end times for automatic recording.
- Noise Reduction Switch: Enable to reduce background noise and improve sound quality.
- Noise Reduction Settings: Levels 1 to 7. Higher levels provide better noise reduction.

7. Maintenance and Important Notices
7.1. General Maintenance
- Do not shut down the device's power button while it is saving a recording.
- Avoid scratching the recorder body.
- If typing or writing near the device while the record function is active, it will capture the noise.
- Do not format the device unless the files have been backed up.
- Do not cut off power while formatting the device.
- Do not delete a file unless the file has been backed up.
8. User Tips
- Charging: Always use a 5V-1A ordinary charging head or a computer USB port for charging. Avoid using fast chargers exceeding 30W, as the MP3 player does not support fast charging.
- Memory Usage: Be aware that standard MP3/MP4 player applications and underlying files will occupy a portion of the internal memory, meaning the actual usable memory will be slightly less than the advertised capacity.
- Voice Activated Recording (AVR): While useful for saving space and skipping silence, exercise caution when using AVR for critical recordings like important lectures or meetings, as very low decibel sounds might be skipped.
9. Troubleshooting
No specific troubleshooting steps are provided in the available documentation. For common issues, please refer to the 'Basic Operations' and 'Settings' sections to ensure correct configuration. If problems persist, contact customer support.
