5.2 Printing Process

  1. Prepare Design: Create or load your design in the RIP software. Ensure the design is correctly sized and positioned for your DTF film.
  2. Load DTF Film: Load the DTF PET film onto the roll film bracket, ensuring it feeds smoothly onto the suction printing platform. The suction system will hold the film flat.
  3. Software Settings: In the RIP software, select the appropriate print head (TX800 or XP600), resolution (e.g., 1440x1440dpi), and ink settings (CMYKWW).
  4. Print Head Check: Before printing, perform a 'Print Check' from the control panel to ensure all nozzles are firing correctly. Clean the print head if necessary.
  5. Start Printing: Send the print job from the RIP software to the printer. The printer will begin applying ink to the DTF film.
  6. Monitor Printing: Observe the printing process. The white ink mixing and circulation systems will operate automatically.
  7. Post-Printing: Once printing is complete, carefully remove the printed film. Proceed with powder application and curing as per standard DTF workflow.
