2. Safety Precautions

  • Keep this product away from electromagnetic, excessively humid, smoky, and other harsh environments.
  • Do not immerse this device in water; do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaners.
  • Do not squeeze the product with excessive force.
  • Avoid severe vibration or impact.
  • When using headphones, it is recommended to turn down the volume before connecting, then gradually increase it to a comfortable level. Avoid high volumes for extended periods to protect hearing. If tinnitus occurs, reduce volume or stop use.
  • Place the product safely, out of reach of children, to prevent accidents.
  • The device fully charges in approximately 2-3 hours. Unplug it from the USB interface once charging is complete to prevent prolonged connection to the power supply.
  • Do not use headphones while driving, cycling, operating machinery, or engaging in activities requiring attention to external sounds.

Battery Charging Precautions:

  • This device uses a polymer lithium battery, which is rechargeable and reusable.
  • The polymer lithium battery must be replaced by professionals. Improper replacement carries a risk of explosion. Only use the same type or equivalent battery. Dispose of discarded batteries through professional recycling institutions for environmental protection.

5. Operation Instructions

Power Key (No. 5):

  • Power On: Long-press for 3 seconds.
  • Power Off: Long-press for 3 seconds.
  • Unlock Screen: Short-press when screen is locked.
  • Time Adjustment: Short-press to switch between hours and minutes.
  • Date Adjustment: Short-press to switch between year, month, and day.

Return Key (No. 6):

  • Menu Navigation: Short-press to return to the previous level interface.
  • Screen Off: Long-press to turn off the screen.

"+" Key (No. 7):

  • Volume Up (Music Playback): Long-press the Play/Pause key to adjust volume up.
  • Next Track (Music Playback): Short-press for the next track.
  • Menu Navigation: Switch functions on the main interface, switch menu options on the secondary interface.
  • E-book: Switch to the next page.

"-" Key (No. 8):

  • Volume Down (Music Playback): Long-press the Play/Pause key to adjust volume down.
  • Previous Track (Music Playback): Short-press for the previous track.
  • Menu Navigation: Switch functions on the main interface, switch menu options on the secondary interface.
  • E-book: Switch to the previous page.

Main Interface "Left Touch Key" (No. 1):

  • Music Interface: Long-press for fast rewind.

Main Interface "Right Touch Key" (No. 3):

Main Interface "Confirm/Pause" Touch Key (No. 4):

  • Confirmation: Acts as a confirmation key.

6. Setup and File Transfer

The Famue PA05 MP3 player supports direct file transfer from mobile phones and computers via its USB-C interface, functioning as a USB flash drive. It is compatible with Android phones and iPhone 15 series and above.

How to Download Music to the Player Using a Mobile Phone:

  1. Step 1: Insert the Type-C end into the mobile phone.
  2. Step 2: Mobile phone operation.
    • Confirm phone recognizes the USB drive: After insertion, the phone will usually automatically recognize the USB drive and display a prompt. For some phones (e.g., Vivo, OPPO), you may need to enable the OTG function in your phone's settings. Search for "OTG" and turn on the switch.
    • Download songs: Open a music application, select the desired song, click "Download," and choose the internal storage of the phone as the storage location.
    • Transfer songs to the USB drive:
      • Open the file management application on your phone.
      • Locate the downloaded songs (typically in the music app's default folder or under the "Audio" category).
      • Long-press the song file, then select "Copy" or "Move."
      • Navigate back to the main interface of file management, find the USB drive (it may appear as "USB storage device" or "OTG"), enter its folder, and click "Paste."
  3. Step 3: Safe removal.

    After the transfer is complete, locate the USB drive in your phone's file management, select "Safe Eject" or "Safe Unmount," and then unplug the USB drive to prevent data corruption.

  • For Mobile File Transfer: Ensure your phone's OTG function is enabled if you encounter issues with the player being recognized. This is common for some Android devices like Vivo and OPPO.
  • Optimizing Battery Life: While the player boasts long battery life, using the external speaker will reduce usage time per single charge. For maximum playback, use wired headphones.
  • Sound Quality: For the best audio experience, use high-quality lossless audio files (APE/FLAC/WAV) and compatible headphones.
  • Storage Management: Regularly organize your files to make the most of the 32GB internal storage. Consider the 64GB upgrade option if you have a very large music library or extensive recording needs.

11. Troubleshooting

  • Device not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Long-press the Power Key (No. 5) for 3 seconds. If still unresponsive, connect to a power source and try again.
  • Cannot transfer files from phone:
    1. Check if the USB-C connection is secure.
    2. Verify that your phone supports OTG and that the OTG function is enabled in your phone's settings (especially for some Android brands).
    3. Ensure the player is recognized as a USB storage device in your phone's file manager.
  • No sound from headphones:
    1. Check if headphones are properly plugged into the 3.5mm jack (No. 10).
    2. Adjust the volume using the '+' and '-' keys (No. 7 & 8).
    3. Test with another pair of headphones to rule out headphone issues.
  • Bluetooth connection issues:
    1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on both the player and the receiving device (headphones/speaker).
