2. Safety Guidelines

4. Setup and Assembly
Your MilePort 1 e-bike comes partially assembled. Follow these steps for final assembly and initial setup:
4.1 Unboxing and Initial Inspection
Carefully remove the e-bike and all components from the packaging. Inspect for any visible damage during transit. If you find any issues, contact customer support immediately.
4.2 Unfolding the E-Bike
- Place the folded bike on a flat, stable surface.
- Release the frame folding latch, typically located in the middle of the main frame tube.
- Unfold the frame until it locks into place. Ensure the latch is securely fastened.
- Raise the handlebar stem and secure its quick-release lever. Adjust the handlebar height to your preference.
- Adjust the seat post height and secure the quick-release lever. Ensure the seat is at a comfortable and safe riding height.
- Unfold the pedals if they are foldable.

4.3 Battery Installation and Charging
The MilePort 1 features an extended-range removable battery. It is recommended to fully charge the battery before its first use.
- Installation: Insert the battery into its compartment, typically located under the rear rack or within the frame. Push firmly until it clicks into place. Use the provided key to lock the battery for security.

- Removal: Unlock the battery with the key and carefully slide it out.

4.4 Phone Mount Installation
A sturdy and durable phone mount is included for convenient riding. Pull down the buckle to fix your phone, and press the key to unlock the clamp arm.

5.1 Powering On/Off and Display
To power on the e-bike, press and hold the power button on the handlebar display (Key-Disp). The display will show battery level and pedal assist mode. To power off, press and hold the power button again.
5.2 Pedal Assist System (PAS)
The MilePort 1 offers multiple levels of pedal assist. Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the display to increase or decrease the assist level. Higher levels provide more motor assistance, while lower levels conserve battery life.
5.3 Gear Shifting
