7. Troubleshooting

Q: Why is there no sound from the device?
A: Check the following:
1. Ensure the AUX cable is correctly inserted and the FM transmitter switch is turned off if you intend to use the device's internal speaker or Bluetooth audio.
2. If the FM transmitter switch is turned on, the device's internal speaker will be muted. Sound will be transmitted via FM to your car radio.
Q: Is it possible to transmit audio to the car's speakers via Bluetooth?
A: Yes, the device supports Bluetooth Music. Ensure your phone is paired with the device and the device is connected to your car's Bluetooth system.
Q: How to sync sound via FM?
A: Turn on the FM Transmitter on the device. Adjust your car radio's channel to a blank station (one with no broadcast). Then, set the device's FM frequency to match the blank station on your car radio. The sound should now be synchronized.
Q: How to sync sound via AUX cable?
A: Connect one end of the AUX cable to the 'audio' port on the right side of the device. Connect the other end to the AUX-IN port on your car. Select the AUX playback interface on your car radio to hear the sound.
Q: Why doesn't the screen light up?
A: Check the following:
1. Verify that the power supply is plugged in properly. The car charger should be securely connected to the device's Type-C/USB port (next to the AV port) and to the car's 12V power outlet.
2. If the power is confirmed, locate the reset button on the back of the device and press and hold it for 3 seconds.
3. If the issue persists, it might be a software problem. Contact customer service for potential firmware upgrades. Do not attempt random updates, as incorrect firmware can cause device malfunction.
Q: What should I do if the picture from the rear camera is shaking?
A: Check the following:
1. Ensure the rear camera cable is properly plugged into the AV port. (Note: The rear camera should be connected first, then power on the machine).
2. Restart the device after checking the connection.
Q: Can I use the rear camera of the original car/other brands?
A: No, only the rear camera provided by Vtopek is supported. Cameras from original cars or other brands are not compatible with this device.
Q: How to update the device firmware?
A: To update, first check your current software version and provide it to customer service. They will supply the corresponding firmware and detailed update steps. Warning: Do not update randomly. Different product batches require specific firmware. Using incorrect firmware can lead to device malfunction.
