4.1 Device Overview and Connections

4.2 Initial Installation
- Mounting: Securely attach the main display unit to your car's dashboard or windshield using the provided mounting accessories. Ensure it does not obstruct your view or interfere with driving controls.
- Power Connection: Connect the car charger to the device's power connector (Type-C/USB port next to the AV port) and plug the other end into your car's cigarette lighter socket.
- Rear Camera (Optional): If using the optional rear camera, connect it to the dedicated Rear Camera port on the device. Ensure the camera cable is routed safely and does not interfere with vehicle operation.
- TF Card Insertion: Insert a Class 10 TF card (up to 256GB) into the TF Card Slot for recording and media storage.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Wireless CarPlay / Android Auto Connection
The device supports both wired and wireless CarPlay and Android Auto connections.

- Bluetooth Pairing: First, pair your mobile phone with the device via Bluetooth.
- Wi-Fi Connection: After Bluetooth pairing, connect your phone to the device's Wi-Fi signal.
- Automatic Launch: Once both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are connected, CarPlay or Android Auto will automatically launch on the device.
5.2 Split-Screen Display
The device offers multiple split-screen display options, allowing you to use two applications simultaneously.

- Enter Split-Screen: Tap the split-screen button on the interface to activate split-screen mode.
- Select Applications: Choose the applications you wish to display on each side of the screen.
- Exit Split-Screen: Click on the 'Auxiliary button' and select the 'Full screen button' to exit split-screen mode.
5.3 App Usage (T382D Model Only)
For T382D models, you can access pre-installed apps like YouTube, Netflix, TikTok, Spotify, and YT Music. These apps are available directly from the device's App Store. No additional apps can be installed from external sources.

5.4 Music Playback

5.5 Siri/Google Voice Control

5.7 Audio Output Methods
The device offers several ways to output audio to your car's speakers:

- Speaker Output: When playing music or videos, the sound can be heard from the small horn on the back of the device.
- Bluetooth (BT) Audio: For CarPlay/Android Auto use only. Pair your phone's Bluetooth directly to the original car's Bluetooth system.
- FM Signal Output: Transmit the audio signal via FM to your original car radio. Adjust the car radio to a blank station and set the device's FM transmitter to the same frequency.
- AUX Line Output: Connect one end of the AUX cable to the device's 'audio' port and the other end to your car's AUX-IN port. Select AUX playback on your car radio to synchronize sound.
5.8 Dual WiFi Connection
After connecting to your phone for CarPlay or Android Auto, you can use the device's WiFi to connect to your phone's hotspot. This enables browsing YouTube and Netflix (on T382D models) via a dual WiFi connection.

Note for iPhone users: Please turn on the 'Maximum Compatibility' button for Personal Hotspot on your iPhone. Mobile phones without maximum compatibility may not support connecting to hotspots and using CarPlay/Android Auto simultaneously.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the screen and exterior of the device. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Temperature: Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures (hot or cold) for extended periods.
- Storage: When not in use for a long time, store the device in a cool, dry place.

7. Troubleshooting
- Q: Why is there no sound from the device?
- A: Check the following:
- 1. Ensure the AUX cable is correctly inserted and the FM transmitter switch is turned off if you intend to use the device's internal speaker or Bluetooth audio.
- 2. If the FM transmitter switch is turned on, the device's internal speaker will be muted. Sound will be transmitted via FM to your car radio.
- Q: Is it possible to transmit audio to the car's speakers via Bluetooth?
- A: Yes, the device supports Bluetooth Music. Ensure your phone is paired with the device and the device is connected to your car's Bluetooth system.
- Q: How to sync sound via FM?
- A: Turn on the FM Transmitter on the device. Adjust your car radio's channel to a blank station (one with no broadcast). Then, set the device's FM frequency to match the blank station on your car radio. The sound should now be synchronized.
- Q: How to sync sound via AUX cable?
- A: Connect one end of the AUX cable to the 'audio' port on the right side of the device. Connect the other end to the AUX-IN port on your car. Select the AUX playback interface on your car radio to hear the sound.
- Q: Why doesn't the screen light up?
- A: Check the following:
- 1. Verify that the power supply is plugged in properly. The car charger should be securely connected to the device's Type-C/USB port (next to the AV port) and to the car's 12V power outlet.
- 2. If the power is confirmed, locate the reset button on the back of the device and press and hold it for 3 seconds.
- 3. If the issue persists, it might be a software problem. Contact customer service for potential firmware upgrades. Do not attempt random updates, as incorrect firmware can cause device malfunction.
- Q: What should I do if the picture from the rear camera is shaking?
- A: Check the following:
- 1. Ensure the rear camera cable is properly plugged into the AV port. (Note: The rear camera should be connected first, then power on the machine).
- 2. Restart the device after checking the connection.
- Q: Can I use the rear camera of the original car/other brands?
- A: No, only the rear camera provided by Vtopek is supported. Cameras from original cars or other brands are not compatible with this device.
- Q: How to update the device firmware?
- A: To update, first check your current software version and provide it to customer service. They will supply the corresponding firmware and detailed update steps. Warning: Do not update randomly. Different product batches require specific firmware. Using incorrect firmware can lead to device malfunction.

- For optimal performance with iPhone hotspots, ensure 'Maximum Compatibility' is enabled in your phone's Personal Hotspot settings.
- Always connect the rear camera before powering on the device to ensure proper detection and functionality.
- If you experience any issues, a soft reset (holding the reset button for 3 seconds) can often resolve minor glitches.
