Setup Guide
1. Charging the Printer
Before first use, ensure your P12 printer is fully charged. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the printer and a suitable USB power source. The indicator light will show charging status.
2. Loading Label Paper
- Open the printer's cover.
- Insert the label paper roll with the printing surface facing down.
- Close the cover securely.
3. App Installation
Download the official "Marklife" app from your device's app store:
- For iOS devices: Search "Marklife" on the Apple App Store.
- For Android devices: Search "Marklife" on the Google Play Store.
4. Bluetooth Connection
Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone or tablet. Open the Marklife app and follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your P12 printer. The app will search for nearby printers (e.g., "P12_ZE954_BLE") and guide you through the connection process. The printer's indicator light will confirm a successful connection.

Operation
1. Creating Labels
Use the Marklife app to design your labels. The app offers various features:
- Text: Enter custom text, choose from over 60 fonts, adjust size, style (bold, underline), and orientation.
- Icons & Frames: Select from over 800 icons and 20+ frames to enhance your labels.
- Barcodes & QR Codes: Generate and print various types of barcodes and QR codes.
- Images: Embed simple images into your labels.
- Templates: Utilize pre-designed templates for quick label creation.

2. Printing Labels
Once your label design is complete in the Marklife app:
- Tap the "Print" button.
- Review the print preview to ensure the label appears as desired.
- Adjust print quantity or other settings if necessary.
- Confirm to start printing.
3. Using the Built-in Cutter
The P12 printer features a built-in cutter for both continuous paper and gap labels. After printing, simply press the cutter button on the side of the printer to cleanly cut the label.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning the Printer
To ensure optimal print quality and prolong the life of your printer, regularly clean the print head and paper path. Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol. Never use abrasive cleaners or sharp objects.
2. Label Paper Care
The P12 thermal label paper is designed for durability:
- Water & Oil-proof: High-quality thermal label paper will not lose color even if washed with water.
- Anti-scratch: Not easy to lose color when being touched and rubbed.
- Tear Resistance: The thermal paper cannot be torn directly by hand.
- No Sticky Residue: Less likely to leave sticky residue after tearing compared to other brands.

Troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions:
- Printer not connecting via Bluetooth: Ensure the printer is charged, turned on, and within range. Restart both the printer and your mobile device. Verify Bluetooth is enabled on your device and try reconnecting through the Marklife app.
- Poor print quality: Check if the label paper is loaded correctly (face down). Ensure the print head is clean. Try adjusting print density settings in the Marklife app if available.
- Paper jam: Turn off the printer, open the cover, and carefully remove any jammed paper. Ensure the paper roll is properly seated before closing the cover and restarting.
- Printer not turning on: Ensure the printer is fully charged. If the issue persists, try using a different Type-C charging cable and power adapter.
