Operating Instructions

Basic Operation

  1. Insert Kneading Paddle: Place the kneading paddle onto the shaft inside the bread pan.
  2. Add Ingredients: Add liquid ingredients first, followed by dry ingredients. Create a small indentation in the dry ingredients and add the yeast, ensuring it does not directly contact liquids or salt initially.
  3. Place Bread Pan: Insert the bread pan into the bread maker and twist gently until it locks into place. Close the lid.
  4. Select Program: Use the 'MENU' button on the control panel to cycle through the 19 available programs. The selected program number and name will be displayed on the LCD screen.
  5. Choose Loaf Size and Crust Color: Use the 'LOAF' button to select your desired loaf size (1lb or 1.5lb). Use the 'COLOR' button to choose your preferred crust setting (Light, Medium, or Dark).
  6. Start Program: Press the 'START/STOP/PAUSE' button to begin the selected program. The machine will start kneading.
  7. Monitoring: You can observe the baking process through the large viewing window.
  8. End of Cycle: Once the program is complete, the machine will beep and automatically enter a 1-hour 'Keep Warm' cycle.
  9. Remove Bread: Using the provided anti-heat oven mitt, carefully remove the bread pan from the machine. Invert the pan to release the bread. If the kneading paddle remains in the bread, use the hook tool to remove it. Allow the bread to cool on a wire rack before slicing.

  1. Always Unplug and Cool: Before cleaning, always unplug the bread maker from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely.
  2. Bread Pan and Kneading Paddle: Remove the bread pan from the unit. If the kneading paddle is stuck, fill the pan with warm water and let it soak for about 30 minutes to loosen it before removal. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
  3. Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the bread maker with a soft, damp cloth. Do NOT immerse the main unit in water or pour water directly onto it.
  4. Lid: The lid can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Be careful not to let water seep into the viewing window or control panel area.
