7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Why does the Box's Bluetooth disconnect?

Wireless CarPlay operates by establishing a Wi-Fi connection for data transfer after initial device information is confirmed via Bluetooth pairing. To avoid interference, the Bluetooth connection is then disconnected. This is a normal phenomenon and expected behavior.

7.2 I cannot connect CarPlay, but Bluetooth is already paired.

If you are experiencing this issue, please forget the Bluetooth connection and reset Wi-Fi on your iPhone. Navigate to: Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

7.3 Why is the wireless CarPlay not stable?

  1. Ensure that the mounting position of the CarPlay box is not obstructed by metal parts, as this can significantly affect the transmission of the Wi-Fi signal.
  2. Change the Wi-Fi channel: Enter the CarPlay box settings via Factory Mode > Connectivity Settings > Hotspot Band. Select channel 1, 6, or 11, depending on the current region, to find the most stable connection.

8. User Tips

  • DIP Switch Settings: For proper functionality, always double-check the DIP switch settings against the compatibility table in Section 4.2, especially for your specific screen size (6.5 inch or 8.8 inch). Incorrect settings can lead to display issues.
  • Installation Guidance: For detailed assembly instructions and wiring diagrams, refer to Section 4.1 and the comprehensive User Manual PDF linked in Section 9. Professional installation is highly recommended to avoid damage.
