5. Setup

5.1 Unfolding the Scooter

1. Place the scooter on a flat surface.
2. Lift the handlebar stem until it locks into place.
3. Ensure the folding mechanism is securely latched.

5.2 Initial Charging

Before your first ride, fully charge the scooter's battery. The charging port is typically located on the side of the deck. Connect the charger to the scooter and then to a power outlet. The indicator light on the charger will change (e.g., from red to green) when charging is complete.

5.3 App Installation (AOVOPRO APP)

For enhanced control and monitoring, download the AOVOPRO APP from your smartphone's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your scooter via Bluetooth.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

• Power On: Press and hold the power button on the handlebar display for a few seconds.
• Power Off: Press and hold the power button again until the display turns off.

6.2 Riding the Scooter

1. Place one foot firmly on the deck.
2. Push off with your other foot to gain some initial momentum.
3. Gently press the accelerator lever to engage the motor.
4. To slow down or stop, release the accelerator and use the brake levers.

6.3 Speed Modes

The scooter features 3 speed modes (L, M, H) to suit different riding conditions and preferences. Double-click the power button to switch between these modes.

6.4 Using the AOVOPRO APP

The AOVOPRO APP allows you to:

• Adjust maximum speed.
• Turn on/off the electronic lock (E-lock).
• Control the headlight.
• Change speed modes.

7. Maintenance

7.1 General Care

• Regularly clean the scooter with a damp cloth. Avoid using high-pressure water jets.
• Store the scooter in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Check all fasteners (screws, bolts) periodically and tighten if necessary.

7.2 Battery Care

• Charge the battery regularly, even if the scooter is not in use for extended periods (at least once every 30-60 days).
• Do not overcharge or completely drain the battery.
• Use only the original charger provided with the scooter.

7.3 Tire Maintenance

The scooter is equipped with 8.5-inch solid tires, which are maintenance-free and resistant to punctures. Regularly inspect them for any signs of wear or damage.
