1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the JIKEFUN CZ36 Remote Control Aircraft Fighter. This 2.4G foam drone is designed for an enjoyable and easy flying experience, suitable for beginners and intermediate users. This manual provides essential information for safe operation, setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Please read it thoroughly before use.

2. Safety Information

  • WARNING: Not suitable for children under 36 months due to small parts. Adult supervision is recommended for all users.
  • Always operate the aircraft in open spaces, away from people, animals, and obstacles.
  • Do not fly near high-voltage lines, trees, or water.
  • Ensure the battery is fully charged before each flight.
  • Do not touch the propellers when they are spinning.
  • Turn off the aircraft and remote control when not in use.

4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

  1. Aircraft Battery: Carefully insert the provided 3.7V 500mAh Lithium Battery into the aircraft's battery compartment. Ensure correct polarity and secure the compartment cover.
  2. Remote Control Battery: Open the battery cover on the back of the remote control. Insert 3 AA batteries (not included) according to the polarity indicators. Close the cover securely.

4.2 Charging the Aircraft Battery

  1. Connect the USB charging cable to the aircraft's battery.
  2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a USB power source (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter).
  3. The charging indicator light will show the charging status (refer to the USB cable's specific indicator behavior).
  4. Charging time is approximately 50 minutes. Do not overcharge.

4.3 Pairing the Aircraft and Remote Control

  1. Place the aircraft on a flat surface.
  2. Turn on the aircraft. The indicator lights will flash.
  3. Turn on the remote control.
  4. Push the left joystick (throttle) all the way up, then pull it all the way down. The remote control will beep, and the aircraft lights will become solid, indicating successful pairing.

5.1 Remote Control Overview

  • Left Joystick (Throttle): Ascend/Descend, Left/Right Turn.
  • Right Joystick: Forward/Backward, Left Fly/Right Fly.
  • One-Click Takeoff/Landing Button: Initiates automatic takeoff or landing.
  • Stop/Scram Button: Emergency stop for propellers.
  • One-Click Return Button: Initiates automatic return to the approximate takeoff position.
  • 360° Roll Button: Activates stunt roll (press and hold for spiral).
  • Headless Mode Button: Activates headless mode.
  • Fast and Slow Gear Button: Toggles between flight speeds.
  • Fine-tuning Buttons: Adjust aircraft drift (Forward, Backward, Left, Right).
  • Power Switch: ON/OFF for the remote control.

5.2 Basic Flight Controls

  1. Takeoff: After pairing, press the One-Click Takeoff button or slowly push the left joystick up.
  2. Landing: Press the One-Click Landing button or slowly pull the left joystick down.
  3. Ascend/Descend: Push the left joystick up to ascend, pull down to descend.
  4. Forward/Backward: Push the right joystick up to fly forward, pull down to fly backward.
  5. Left/Right Fly: Push the right joystick left to fly left, push right to fly right.
  6. Left/Right Turn: Push the left joystick left to turn left, push right to turn right.

5.3 Special Functions

  • Constant Pressure Height: The aircraft automatically maintains a stable altitude, making it easier to control.
  • 360° Roll (Tumble): Press the 360° Roll button and then move the right joystick in the desired direction to perform a flip. Long press for a spiral stunt.
  • Headless Mode: In this mode, the aircraft's orientation is relative to the remote control, eliminating the need to identify the front of the drone. Press the Headless Mode button to activate/deactivate.
  • One-Click Return: Press the One-Click Return button, and the aircraft will attempt to fly back towards the remote control.
  • Fast and Slow Gear: Adjust the flight speed according to your skill level and environment.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Gently wipe the aircraft body with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using water or harsh chemicals.
  • Propeller Replacement: If propellers are damaged, replace them with the provided spare blades using the screwdriver. Ensure they are installed correctly.
  • Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place when not in use. Do not expose to extreme temperatures. Do not overcharge or completely discharge the battery.
  • Storage: When storing the aircraft for extended periods, remove batteries from both the aircraft and the remote control.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Aircraft not responding: Ensure both aircraft and remote control are powered on and successfully paired. Check remote control batteries.
  • Short flight time: Ensure the aircraft battery is fully charged. Flight time can vary based on flight style and environmental conditions.
  • Aircraft drifts: Use the fine-tuning buttons on the remote control to correct any unwanted drift.
  • Propellers not spinning: Check for any obstructions around the propellers. Ensure propellers are securely attached and undamaged.
  • Loss of control: Fly within the recommended remote control distance (approx. 70 meters). Avoid areas with strong electromagnetic interference.
