5. Setup
5.1 Initial Test
In its factory state, the lock can be unlocked using any fingerprint or the default password "123456#". This allows for initial testing before configuring personal access methods.
5.2 Tuya / TTlock App Settings
The smart cylinder lock supports both Tuya Smart and TTlock mobile applications. Choose the app that best suits your smart home ecosystem.
5.2.1 Download and Register
- Download the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app (for Tuya version) or the TTlock app (for TTlock version) from the Apple App Store or Google Play. You can also scan the QR codes provided in the manual.
- Register a new account using your email or mobile number.
5.2.2 Intelligent Configuration (Adding Device)
- Open the chosen app (Tuya Smart / TTlock).
- Click "Add Device" (usually a '+' icon) in the top right corner.
- Awake the lock cylinder (e.g., by touching the fingerprint sensor or pressing a key on the keypad). The app should automatically search for and discover the lock.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to add the device. You may also find the lock under the "Camera & Lock" menu.
5.2.3 Adding User Fingerprints
- In the app, navigate to "Fingerprint Management".
- Select "Add Fingerprint" and choose the user for whom you want to add a fingerprint.
- Follow the instructions to place the finger on the fingerprint sensor multiple times until registration is complete.

6. Operation
6.1 Unlocking Methods
- Fingerprint Unlock: Place your registered finger on the fingerprint sensor. The lock will unlock if the fingerprint is recognized.
- Password Unlock: Enter your registered pincode on the keypad. The lock will unlock upon correct entry.
- NFC/RFID Card Unlock: Tap your registered smart keycard on the designated sensing area.
- Mechanical Key Unlock: In emergencies or when batteries are depleted, use the provided mechanical key to unlock the cylinder.
- App Unlock (Bluetooth): When within Bluetooth range, open the TTlock or Tuya app and tap the unlock button.
- App Remote Unlock (with G2 Gateway): If a G2 WiFi Gateway is configured and connected to your home network, you can remotely unlock the door from anywhere via the app.
6.2 Passage Mode
To enable Passage Mode, turn off the "automatic lock switch" option within the app settings. In this mode, the lock cylinder can be unlocked by simply turning the knob without requiring any registered credentials. To exit Passage Mode, input any registered fingerprint, password, or card.
6.3 Emergency Power
If the lock's batteries are completely depleted, you can provide emergency power using a USB Type-C cable connected to the USB charging port on the lock. This will allow you to use electronic unlocking methods to gain access and replace the batteries.

7. Maintenance
- Battery Replacement: The lock uses 3xAAA batteries. When the battery level is low, the lock will provide an alert. Replace all three batteries simultaneously with new ones.
- Cleaning: Wipe the lock's surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish and electronic components.
- Environmental Conditions: This lock is not waterproof. Avoid exposing it to water or high humidity environments to prevent damage.
- Regular Checks: Periodically check that all screws and components are securely fastened.
8. Troubleshooting
- Lock not responding: If the lock does not respond to electronic inputs, check the battery level. Use the emergency USB Type-C power port or the mechanical key to gain access.
- Fingerprint not recognized: Ensure your finger is clean and dry. Try re-registering your fingerprint in the app if the issue persists.
- Password not working: Double-check that you are entering the correct password. Verify in the app that the lock is not in Passage Mode, which bypasses password entry.
- App connectivity issues: Ensure your smartphone's Bluetooth is enabled when attempting to connect via Bluetooth. If using a G2 Gateway for remote access, ensure the gateway is properly configured and has a stable Wi-Fi connection.
- Lock reset unexpectedly: If the lock reverts to factory settings, use the Reset Card by swiping it on the induction area, or use the "Remove Device" function in the app to re-pair and configure the lock.
9. User Tips
- For optimal security and convenience, register all frequently used fingerprints, up to the maximum capacity of 100, for quick access.
- Remember to keep your mechanical keys in a safe, accessible location outside the property for emergency access.
- If using the Tuya or TTlock app, ensure your phone's Bluetooth is enabled when near the lock for direct control, or ensure your G2 Gateway is online for remote access.

Please read this manual carefully before use.
