2.1 Laser Safety

5. Setup
5.1 Power Supply
The Huepar S04CG-L can be powered by either a Li-ion battery or AA batteries. It also supports direct input charging.
- Li-ion Battery: Insert the provided 2600mAh Li-ion battery into the battery compartment.
- AA Batteries: Alternatively, use 4 x AA batteries in the designated AA battery compartment.
- Direct Charging: The laser tool can be used while charging directly via the power adapter, even if the battery is removed. Charging protection is built-in to prevent overcharge.

5.2 Mounting the Laser Level
The laser level offers multiple installation methods for versatility:
- 360° Strong Magnetic Pivoting Base: Attach the base to metal tracks or steel surfaces. This allows for 360-degree rotation to project lines at any angle.
- Lifting Base: Use the lifting base to raise the laser lines from the surface, allowing projection over uneven surfaces or obstructions (between 1 inch and 3.15 inch height).
- Tripod Mounting: The device features a 1/4"-20 mounting thread for attachment to a standard tripod.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Power On/Off and Mode Selection
- Self-leveling Mode: To power on in self-leveling mode, unlock the pendulum. The laser level will automatically self-level within its range of ±3.5°. If it's out of range, the laser beam will beep and blink fast.
- Manual/Tilt Mode: To enter manual mode, lock the pendulum. The laser tool can then be placed at any angle. In this mode, the laser beam will blink every 3-5 seconds to remind you that it is not self-leveling.

6.2 Line Switching
Use the 'H' and 'V' buttons on the keypad to switch between horizontal and vertical laser lines independently, according to your job requirements.

6.3 Pulse Mode
To activate Pulse Mode, turn on the laser tool and then short press the power button. In Pulse Mode, the laser beams appear dimmer but the working range extends up to 200 feet when used with a Huepar Line Laser Receiver. This is ideal for brighter working conditions.

7. Maintenance

8. Troubleshooting
- Problem: Laser beam blinks fast and beeps.
Solution: This indicates the laser level is out of its self-leveling range (±3.5°). Adjust the position of the device until it is within range and the laser lines stabilize. - Problem: Laser beam blinks every 3-5 seconds.
Solution: This is normal behavior when the device is in Manual/Tilt Mode (pendulum locked). It serves as a reminder that the laser lines are not self-leveled. - Problem: No laser lines are projected.
Solution: Check the battery level and ensure the batteries are correctly installed. Make sure the pendulum is unlocked for self-leveling mode or locked for manual mode, and the device is powered on.

9. User Tips
- For outdoor use or in very bright indoor conditions, activate Pulse Mode and use a compatible Huepar Line Laser Receiver to extend the working range and improve visibility.
- Utilize the 360° magnetic pivoting base for quick and flexible attachment to metal surfaces, allowing for easy adjustment of laser line angles.
- The lifting base is particularly useful when working on projects that require the laser lines to clear small obstacles or uneven floor surfaces.
- Take advantage of the direct charging feature to continue working even if your battery runs low, by simply plugging in the power adapter.
