4. Safety Information
- Always disconnect power before installing or servicing the device.
- Ensure all wiring is done by a qualified electrician and complies with local electrical codes.
- Do not exceed the maximum current rating of 10A.
- Keep the device away from water and extreme temperatures (outside 0ºC-40ºC for the switch). The sensor is waterproof, but the main switch unit is not.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device yourself. Contact support if issues arise.
- Ensure your Wi-Fi network is secure (WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK).
5. Setup Guide
5.1. App Installation
- Download the eWeLink App from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
- Register a new account or log in with an existing one.

5.2. Wiring the Smart Switch
Before wiring, ensure the power supply is disconnected. The switch has different input voltage models (DC/AC 7-32V or AC 85-250V). Please refer to the specific wiring diagram for your model.
General Wiring Diagram (AC 85-250V Input)

Figure 6: Internal wiring for AC 85-250V input. Connect AC 85-250V to the input terminals. The relay output supports AC 90V-250V/10A or DC 0-30V/10A. Connect your appliance to the NO (Normally Open) and COM (Common) terminals for standard operation, or NC (Normally Closed) and COM if normally closed operation is desired.

5.3. Device Pairing (eWeLink App)
Follow these steps to pair your smart switch with the eWeLink App:
- Power on the smart switch.
- Open the eWeLink App and tap the '+' icon to add a device.
- Select the appropriate pairing mode (usually 'Quick Pairing' or 'Compatible Pairing Mode').
- For Compatible Pairing Mode, the device's hotspot will appear in your Wi-Fi settings. Connect your phone to this hotspot (e.g., 'ITEAD-xxxxxx') using the password '12345678'.
- Return to the eWeLink App to complete the connection.
- Once successfully added, you can rename the device and assign it to a room.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1. App Control
The eWeLink App provides comprehensive control over your smart switch:
- Remote ON/OFF: Turn connected electrical devices on or off from anywhere.
- Real-time Monitoring: View the current temperature detected by the DS18B20 sensor in real-time.
- Temperature Control Mode: Set specific temperature ranges to automatically turn devices on or off. For example, you can set the switch to turn on when the temperature drops below 30°C and turn off when it exceeds 40°C (as shown in the video demonstration).
- Timing Functions: Schedule devices to turn on/off at specific times using countdown, single, repeat, or loop timers.
- Smart Scenes: Use temperature values as triggers for smart scenes to control other eWeLink compatible devices.
- Device Sharing: Share control of the smart switch with family members through the app.

8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Device fails to pair with App | Incorrect Wi-Fi password, 5GHz Wi-Fi, weak signal, router MAC filtering. | Ensure correct 2.4GHz Wi-Fi password. Check Wi-Fi signal strength. Disable MAC filtering on your router. Try 'Compatible Pairing Mode'. |
| Device offline in App | Loss of Wi-Fi connection, power outage. | Check your Wi-Fi router and internet connection. Ensure the device has stable power. Re-pair if necessary. |
| Temperature reading is inaccurate | Sensor not properly connected, sensor damaged, external interference. | Ensure the sensor is securely plugged in. Check the sensor for visible damage. Avoid placing the sensor near heat sources or drafts that could affect readings. |
| RF remote not working | Incorrect remote type, remote not paired. | Ensure your remote is a 433MHz learning code type. Follow the remote's instructions to pair it with the smart switch. |
| Appliance not turning on/off | Incorrect wiring, appliance fault, relay issue. | Verify wiring according to the diagrams in Section 5.2. Test the appliance directly. Check the relay status in the App. |
