4. Safety Information

The Eigotrav U2 is equipped with an Intelligent Protection System to ensure safe operation. Please adhere to the following safety guidelines:

  • Built-in Protections: The device features 10 safety protection functions including overcharge, overvoltage, short circuit, overcurrent, overload, spark protection, reverse charge, reverse polarity, and high/low temperature protection.
  • Reverse Polarity Alarm: If the intelligent battery clamp is connected incorrectly (reverse polarity), the device will automatically emit an alarm to alert you.
  • Charge Level: Ensure the jump starter's power is not below 50% before attempting to jump start a vehicle. Lower power levels may result in unsuccessful starts or require multiple attempts.
  • Continuous Use: Do not use the jump starter to start a vehicle continuously. Allow at least 30 seconds of rest between starting attempts to prevent overheating.
  • Clamp Connection: Never connect the black clamp to the red clamp. This can cause a short circuit and damage the device or battery.
  • Engine Displacement: This device is suitable for gasoline engines up to 7.5L and diesel engines up to 6.0L. Do not attempt to jump start vehicles with larger engine displacements than recommended.
  • Temperature Warnings: Do NOT jump start your car if the jump starter feels too hot (e.g., immediately after charging or prolonged exposure to high temperatures). Do NOT charge the product if it feels hot to the touch. Allow the unit to cool down before use or charging.
