6. Troubleshooting

  • Camera not powering on: Ensure the solar panel is connected correctly and receiving sufficient sunlight. Check the built-in battery charge level via the app.
  • No network connection (4G/WiFi): For 4G models, verify the SIM card is correctly inserted, active, and has data. For WiFi models, ensure the camera is within range of your WiFi router and the network credentials are correct in the app.
  • Motion detection not working or too many false alarms: Adjust the PIR sensitivity settings in the mobile app. Ensure the camera's view is clear of obstructions that might trigger false alarms (e.g., rapidly moving branches).
  • Poor image quality: Clean the camera lenses. Check your network speed; a slow connection can affect streaming quality.
  • App connection issues: Try restarting the camera and your mobile device. Re-add the camera to the app if necessary. Ensure your app is updated to the latest version.

8. User Tips

  • Optimal Solar Charging: For best performance, ensure the solar panel is installed in a location that receives at least 4-6 hours of direct sunlight daily. Angle it towards the sun's path for maximum efficiency.
  • Network Stability: If using the 4G version, regularly check your SIM card's data balance to ensure uninterrupted monitoring. For WiFi, place the camera within optimal range of your router or consider a WiFi extender for remote locations.
  • Storage Management: If using a TF card for local storage, periodically review and back up important footage. Consider setting up loop recording if continuous recording is desired.
