Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. The working temperature range is -10°C to +50°C, and working humidity is 30%-90%.
6.3 Battery Care
To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the device frequently. Recharge the 7000mAh lithium battery when the charge indicator is low. If storing for extended periods, charge the battery to approximately 50% every few months.
7. Troubleshooting
- Device not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the power adapter and try again. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
- No video signal input: Double-check all cable connections (BNC for CVBS/HD, HDMI for HDMI input, Ethernet for IP). Ensure the camera is powered on and functioning correctly. Verify the correct input mode is selected on the tester.
- Network cable test shows faulty: Inspect the RJ45 connectors for proper crimping. Check the cable for physical damage or sharp bends. The TDR function can help pinpoint the exact location of the fault.
