4. Setup Guide

4.1 Power Connection

  • The camera requires a DC power input ranging from 7V to 26V.
  • It also supports a 1S battery via a dedicated welding port for portable power. Ensure correct polarity when connecting.

4.2 Micro SD Card Installation

  • Insert a Micro SD card (8-256GB, U3 Sandisk recommended) into the designated slot on the camera module.
  • Ensure the card is inserted correctly until it clicks into place.

4.3 Lens Installation

  • The camera comes with a standard 102° no distortion lens.
  • For alternative C-mount lenses, attach the C-mount shell to the camera module.
  • Screw the desired C-mount lens into the shell. An IR650 filter is provided for C-mount lenses if needed.

4.4 Connecting Components

  • Connect the camera lens module to the main recording module using the provided super soft coaxial cable. The cable length can be up to 1000mm for flexible mounting.
  • If using the optional remote control board, connect it to the main module using the appropriate cable.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Operation

  • Power on the camera by connecting it to a DC 7-26V power source or a charged 1S battery.
  • The camera will typically start in a default recording mode. Refer to the remote control board or WiFi app for specific mode switching.

5.2 Video Recording

  • The V6 PRO supports various video resolutions and frame rates, including:
    • 6K 25/30FPS
    • 4K 60/30FPS
    • 2.7K 3:2 52FPS / 2.7K 16:9 60FPS
    • 2.5K 16:9 60FPS
    • 1080P 60/30FPS
    • 2K 3:2 60FPS
  • Video files are saved in .mp4 format using H.264/H.265 codecs.
  • Horizontal Lock Video Stabilization (EIS) is active during recording to minimize shake.

5.3 Photo Capture

5.5 Output and Streaming

  • The V6 PRO can simultaneously output video via HDMI (Max 4K 60FPS), AV out, and USB stream while recording.
  • Connect to a display via Micro HDMI or to an analog video system via AV out.
  • The Type C port can be used for USB streaming.

5.6 WiFi Control and PC CAM

  • Use the built-in WiFi for remote control of camera settings, RTSP video streaming, and HTTP controlling via a compatible application on your smartphone or computer.
  • The camera can function as a PC CAM, providing output up to 4K 30FPS or 1080P 30FPS for video conferencing or live streaming.

6. Maintenance

7. Troubleshooting

  • Camera not powering on: Check power supply connections and ensure the voltage is within the DC 7-26V range. If using a 1S battery, ensure it is charged and correctly connected.
  • Recording issues: Verify that a compatible Micro SD card (U3 Sandisk recommended) is inserted and has sufficient free space. Format the card if necessary.
  • Unstable footage: Ensure the camera is mounted securely. While Horizontal EIS is active, excessive vibration or movement can still affect stability.
  • WiFi connection problems: Ensure the camera's WiFi is enabled and you are within range. Try restarting both the camera and your controlling device.
  • No video output: Check HDMI, AV, or USB cable connections. Ensure the display device is set to the correct input source.
