4. Setup

4.1. Battery Installation

The Victor 01S requires three (3) 1.5V AA batteries for operation. To install or replace batteries:

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device.
  2. Open the battery cover.
  3. Insert three 1.5V AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery cover securely.

4.2. Connecting Test Leads

Connect the industrial test leads or alligator clips to the appropriate terminals on the device based on the desired measurement or output function (e.g., V, COM, 3W, 4W, Ω). Ensure connections are firm and secure.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Basic Operation

  1. Power On/Off: Press the green power button (3) to turn the device on or off.
  2. Function Selection: Press the 'FUNC' button (4) to cycle through different output functions (e.g., DCV, OMH, TC, RTD).

The Victor 01S can simulate 11 types of thermocouple signals. Connect the thermocouple adapter and test leads to the appropriate terminals.

5.3. Thermal Resistance (RTD) Simulation

The device can output 5 types of RTD signals. Connect test leads to the 3W or 4W terminals as required.
