3.1. Components

4. Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the inner pot, lid, and all accessories (spoon, ladle, condensation cup, measuring cup, steam rack) with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the exterior of the cooker base with a damp cloth.
  3. Placement: Place the cooker base on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface, away from heat sources and flammable materials. Ensure there is adequate space around the cooker for ventilation.
  4. Install Condensation Cup: Attach the condensation cup to the back of the cooker base.
  5. Insert Inner Pot: Place the inner pot into the cooker base, ensuring it sits correctly and makes full contact with the heating element.
  6. Lid Assembly: Ensure the sealing gasket is properly seated inside the lid. Align the lid with the cooker base, turn clockwise until it locks into place. Ensure the Pressure Limiting Valve is set to the 'Sealing' position for pressure cooking.
  7. Power Connection: Connect the power cord to the cooker and then to a grounded electrical outlet. The display will light up, indicating it's ready for use.

5. Operation

5.1. Basic Cooking Steps

  1. Add ingredients and liquid to the inner pot. Ensure liquid is above the minimum requirement for pressure cooking.
  2. Close the lid and turn it clockwise until it locks. Ensure the Pressure Limiting Valve is in the 'Sealing' position.
  3. Select a desired cooking function (e.g., 'Pressure Cook', 'Rice/Grain', 'Chicken').
  4. Adjust cooking time or pressure level using the '+' and '-' buttons if needed.
  5. Press 'START/CANCEL' to begin cooking.
  6. Once cooking is complete, the cooker will beep and automatically switch to 'KEEP WARM' mode.
  7. Carefully release pressure using the Pressure Limiting Valve (Quick Release) or allow it to release naturally (Natural Release).
  8. Once the Safety Float drops, it is safe to open the lid. Turn the lid counter-clockwise and lift it away from you to avoid steam.

5.3. Delay Timer

The 24-hour delay timer function allows you to program the cooker to start cooking at a later time. This is ideal for preparing meals in advance.

  1. Add ingredients to the inner pot and secure the lid.
  2. Select your desired cooking function.
  3. Press the 'DELAY TIME' button. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to set the desired delay time (up to 24 hours).
  4. Press 'START/CANCEL'. The cooker will count down the delay time before automatically starting the cooking program.

The 'CUSTOM' function allows you to save your preferred cooking settings for quick access.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your pressure cooker.

  1. Always Unplug: Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely.
  2. Inner Pot: The non-stick inner pot is dishwasher safe. For hand washing, use warm soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
  3. Lid: Remove the sealing gasket and anti-clog cover from the lid. Wash the lid, gasket, and anti-clog cover with warm soapy water. Ensure all parts are clean and free of food debris. Reassemble after drying.
  4. Cooker Base: Wipe the exterior of the cooker base with a damp cloth. Never immerse the base in water. Ensure the heating element is clean and dry.
  5. Condensation Cup: Empty and wash the condensation cup after each use.
  6. Accessories: All included accessories (spoon, ladle, measuring cup, steam rack) are dishwasher safe or can be hand washed with warm soapy water.
