4. Setup Instructions
4.1 Mounting the Dashcam
The DDPAI Mola E3 is designed for easy strap-on installation over your existing rearview mirror. This method ensures no damage to the original car and avoids interference with sensor wipers.
- Securely attach the Mola E3 unit to your vehicle's rearview mirror using the provided special straps.
- Ensure the unit is firmly in place and does not obstruct your view of the road.

4.2 Adjusting the Lens
The Mola E3 features a pull-out lens for easy adjustment, ensuring optimal alignment with your car's interior. The lens can rotate 360° in all directions.
- Gently pull out the lens from the main unit.
- Rotate and adjust the lens to capture the desired field of view for the front camera.

4.3 Connecting the Rear Camera
Connect the rear camera to the main unit using the provided cable. Route the cable neatly along the vehicle's interior to the rear window, ensuring it does not interfere with airbags or other safety features.
4.4 Power Connection
Connect the car charger to the dashcam and plug it into your vehicle's 12V power outlet. For 24-hour parking monitoring, a special buck cable (hardwire kit) is required to connect directly to the car's ACC power, ensuring continuous power without draining the car battery.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Basic Operation and Touch Screen Interface
The Mola E3 features a liquid crystal touch screen for smooth operation, eliminating the need for traditional physical buttons. You can easily navigate through menus and control functions with a touch.
- Switching Cameras: Slide left and right on the screen to quickly switch between the front and rear camera views.
- Adjusting Camera Angle: The angle of the shot can be adjusted by swiping your finger on the screen.
- Accessing Settings: Tap the 'Settings' icon on the screen to access various configurations.

5.2 Recording
- Front Camera (2K 1440P HD): The front camera provides super clear, cinema-level recording, capturing driving conditions with high detail.

- Rear Camera (1080P): The rear camera utilizes new TVI transmission streaming media lens technology, offering a 125° wide angle that covers three lanes. SuperView image enhancement technology improves color and brightness, showing more details of the road and weather.

5.3 Automatic Loop Override
When the memory card is full, the Mola E3 automatically recognizes and overwrites the earliest videos, ensuring continuous recording without manual intervention.

5.4 Safety Features
- G-Sensor & Emergency Collision Latching: The built-in high-sensitivity gravity sensor detects body shaking or collisions. In case of an emergency braking or impact, it automatically takes pictures and records 10 seconds of video before and after the event, ensuring critical data is not lost and preserving the truth of the scene.

- HD Night Vision: Equipped with an F1.4 large aperture and a 6-storey high penetration lens module, the E3 automatically adjusts to fill in light, allowing it to record clearly even in dark conditions.

- Anti-Dazzling High Beams: The E3's full-length mirror rear camera uses a smart algorithm to effectively suppress the glare from vehicle high beams, making night driving safer without causing eye damage.

5.5 24-Hour Parking Monitoring
The Mola E3 offers 24-hour parking monitoring, recording one frame per second. This function is activated for 30-60 seconds after any collision when the vehicle is switched off. To enable continuous 24-hour monitoring without battery damage, a special buck cable (hardwire kit) must be connected to the car's ACC power.

5.6 Wi-Fi Connectivity
The Mola E3 features built-in Wi-Fi, allowing you to connect to a specialized app on your smartphone. This enables you to view recordings, manage settings, and share content without using mobile data.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning the Lens: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the front and rear camera lenses. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the lens coating.
- Cleaning the Screen: Use a microfiber cloth to clean the touch screen. Do not spray cleaning solutions directly onto the screen.
- Checking Connections: Periodically check all cable connections (power, rear camera) to ensure they are secure.
- Memory Card Care: Regularly format your Micro SD card (at least once a month) through the dashcam's settings to maintain optimal performance and prevent data corruption.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1 Dashcam Not Powering On
- Check if the car charger is properly connected to both the dashcam and the vehicle's power outlet.
- Ensure the vehicle's 12V power outlet is functioning.
- If using a hardwire kit, verify the connections to the car's fuse box.
7.2 Recording Issues
- "Memory Card Full" Error: Format the Micro SD card via the dashcam settings. Ensure loop recording is enabled.
- Unclear Footage: Clean the camera lenses. Check if the protective film has been removed from the lenses. Adjust the lens angle for optimal view.
- Rear Camera Not Displaying: Check the connection cable between the main unit and the rear camera.
7.3 Wi-Fi Connection Problems
- Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled on the dashcam (check settings).
- Restart both the dashcam and your smartphone.
- Make sure you are within range of the dashcam's Wi-Fi signal.
8. User Tips
- Memory Card Selection: Always use a high-speed Micro SD card (Class 10 or higher) with a capacity of up to 128GB for reliable recording and storage.
- 24-Hour Parking Monitoring: To fully utilize the 24-hour parking monitoring feature, it is highly recommended to install a dedicated hardwire kit (buck cable) to provide constant power to the dashcam after the engine is off. This prevents draining your car's battery.
- Language Settings: The dashcam supports multiple OSD languages including English, Polish, and Russian. Check the settings menu for available language options. Additional language support might be available through the DDPAI mobile application.
- Regular Firmware Updates: Check the official DDPAI website or app for any available firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and access to new features.
